You are right. I agree completely.
By the same token ...
There's no proof they didn't try to take Misty against her will. There is no proof she did call them, crying.
What's your point?
Can't speak to Louisiana statutes. Here's what I found about Florida.

By the way, I find your last sentence to be interesting. Is it the local custom for LE to disregard petty issues like the law when enforcing it?
If they were knights in shining armor riding to the rescue they could have brought LE with them. None of the subsequent disturbance would have happened. If they were "good ol' boys" who got pretty well tanked up and decided to show their *advertiser censored* they might well have acted much in the fashion that...
Can you provide some references supporting the assertion that having signage in place is a sole necessary prerequisite to trespassing? My understanding is different. Posting a property provides a foundation in situations where the owner or their representative is not present. In instances...
It's apparent that you haven't had the misfortune to be involved in many (any?) serious fights. "The option to walk away" can also be described as the "Go ahead, please hit me from behind." option. No one knowledgeable about such encounters will seriously recommend that you turn your back on...
Since you were apparently standing there the entire time to be able to provide this 1st-person witness account of fact did you manage to take any photos to share with us?
Have you provided your testimony to LE? I'm sure they'd be grateful for an unbiased description of the events from a...
(bold above by me)
I don't believe that we have an either/or situation here. The killer is both incredibly stupid and didn't think that the body would be found.
In fact, not thinking that is a great part of the evidence of such stupidity.
In addition to not being the sharpest knife in the...
Thanks.
I know it's a trivial seeming thing, but it is something that I've always tried hard to get right. The way people spell and pronounce their names is to me one of the most personal things that they casually offer to the rest of the world, so I've always made a point of paying attention...
Over time, as I have observed various discussions of various cases a common theme seems to have developed.
Once a conclusion is reached that any particular person may be guilty it is often quite impossible for that person to say or do anything which isn't regarded as suspicious.
If they are...
Regardless of when it was taken, the piece on the ramp is not a paver. It is a fragment of concrete block.
There was considerable discussion about just that question when the photo first surfaced, perhaps in an earlier iteration of this thread.
Someone found a copy with sufficient resolution...
Are you suggesting that this photo was taken prior to Haleigh's abduction?
I've seen the photo before, but the first I saw it was quite some time after the abduction, and it wasn't accompanied with any indications that it had been taken before the crime. It first surfaced when people were...
That's what I remember too.
I don't expect those things would be brought back, either. I was wondering if there were some evidence pictures I had missed somehow. Whisperer's post gave me the impression I had.
That's what I had thought.
I must have misunderstood Whisperer's post. It seemed to suggest that there were pictures out which showed the block which was used that night. I was surprised that I had missed that.
I thought that the block/brick involved with the door that night had been taken by LE to check for trace evidence. Did they later return it, or publish photos?
