Like I mentioned earlier, mechanics typically work in pairs. His coworker or boss may have followed him to the house when he dropped the truck off, then the two of them went straight to work from there. His boss was defending him in the comment section of a local news article (if that was his...
I personally don't think AJ and her mom were fighting Sunday night. AJ was pretty active on Twitter that night, and it sounds like her and her mom were having a good time watching a (very short) fight.

That is the only question I see as well, so that's probably what she was referring to. Would Kenny know why the "last seen" time was updated to later in the day and possibly into the next?
Thank you for correcting me - I think the company might do plumbing also, which is where I got that from. But you're right, I forgot - he said heating and air, not plumbing. I would think the same applies for that sort of job as well though. Could be wrong.
I also think she probably left with them on her own, and parents aren't convinced. If she knew she was being followed by them and they were out to hurt her, and that's why "she was driving with purpose", I would think she would have locked the door. So either she knew they were coming and...
There's more than just the drop off that leads me to suspect separation:
- Inconsistent timelines: mom didn't seem to know about WH's encounter with AJ.
- Dropping the truck off: why wouldn't it have been at the house if he still lived there?
- Never went inside the house: puts key(s) in mailbox...
To me it sounded as if WH was implying an abduction, especially when he kept mentioning the "22 minute window", that something happened during that time which resulted in her disappearance.

HG? Which site is that?
The only evening time I remember seeing was a 9:15 PM one, but I think most of us figured that was an error since she was reported missing at 9:15 PM. I could be wrong though....
Then why go to such great lengths to make it appear like she was abducted from the house and that she needed the money for her bf's birthday (he guessed)? Why not just come out and say "she went out with friends and never came home"? I think trying to get people to focus on the "home...
Here's the transcript:
It could very well be the truck door key that he's referring to. It just seems odd that he would mention it is all. And why wouldn't he have left both if that was the case? Why specifically only the ignition key? Maybe we are looking into this way too hard....
If that's the case then why would they have reported her missing? If she had plans to go out of town and they were aware of them, then they wouldn't have suspected anything Tuesday when she never came home. That also doesn't fit with mom's statement that AJ texted her Tuesday morning saying she...
Well, now that you bring it up.... I wasn't going to post this here because I didn't want rumors to get started about her and for us to jump to conclusions, because I think this could be completely innocent. I was sleuthing her when this case first took off, and was looking through the groups...
