I would think at some point NP's colleagues would start calling him out for his shenanigans. This just seems so beyond the pale to me.
He appears to hate (or at least not give a crap about) GF and Fd's children as much as Fd did.
How could Fd's family "mourn" him in the house he took his life...
I wonder if NP is trying to keep the case open so he can have access to the evidence. Having access to the evidence would give him a leg up on getting a book out before anyone else.
I would think that after all the problems NP has tried to cause, the DA would want to keep NP as far away from...
Aside from Fd being outed for the con he is, he was outed by a woman! And GF outed him in the way he tried to get to JFd. GF pushed him beyond his limits, which he was unable to do to JFd.
OK, maybe this is just the way I chose to see it.
Wow, the first chance he gets to say something to his kids, it's all about how he feels and not a mention of how they must feel about their mother.
And he doesn't even get to them until half way through his last temper tantrum.
So sad for those babies!
JMO, but I think MN also try to demean family and friends of the victim and make the victim totally dependent. They leave the victim with no sense of self esteem and that the MN is their only hope in the world for survival. When the crap hits the fan the victim feels powerless and has no where...
It is just my opinion, but I really thought Fd seemed much more agitated at the last hearing. It was the first time a judge stood up to NP and NP didn't seem happy at all. I think NP gave Fd an ultimatum and told him he wouldn't coddle him anymore. It makes no sense that he wasn't picked up...
Could Fd have taken money from his mother's estate that the rest of the family was unaware of and had AC manage it for him? It doesn't seem like his sister knows much about the laws in this country. She may have believed there wasn't any money when, in fact, there was.
If he has other family...
Thank you for bringing these all forward @afitzy. In re-watching them, it seems as if Fd is always about to lose it and tell the judge what "really" happened. I really wouldn't be surprised if he testifies. Everyone knows that no one can explain as well as Fd just how bad Fd had it.
It...
I love the fact that all of the "things" that Fd fought so hard for are now the things that are tightening the noose around his neck.
His houses won't sell because of the stigma HE has put on them.
He is jailed in the 10,000 sq ft cell that he was willing to kill for and no longer owns...
I love this! "Free the squirrel"!
I feel like NP's whole persona is a plea for sympathy. Please feel sorry for my client because he can't afford to hire an attorney that can afford to get a hair cut or wear clothes that look clean and pressed.
I think NP's squirrel is a "support" animal.
MOO
I've always thought that being under house arrest made it possible for probation officers or LE to enter their residence at any time if they suspect a problem. Maybe that isn't the case in every state?
I almost felt sorry for NP today, (who am I kidding?). IMO, Fd looked like NP had scolded him for the bad boy that he is. It's pretty hard to garner sympathy for a client that is so out of control. If he is so angered by a memorial left by people he doesn't even know, think of what it must...
Didn't the bank just ask to have a caretaker take over the Sturbridge maintenance and property management because Fd wasn't able to do those things any longer? I can't see how Fd could possibly say he didn't know cleaning up at Mountain Springs would be permissible! Unless he did actually get...
IIRC In the Jodi A case, Nurmi was able to negotiate his salary with the state because he had been representing her initially and she ran out of money.
The difference here, as I see it, is that FD has been able to make bail. If someone can make bail, they aren't destitute IMO.
I'm not sure if this is relevant or not, but we have a family friend that was busted for meth in his youth and is barred from owning a gun. His Uncle passed away a few years ago and left him a shotgun. Although he is not allowed to possess a gun, my DH, whom he has named as his executor, was...
Do you think this will be the run of the mill "not guilty" 60 second hearing that we've seen so far or are you thinking she is going to agree to a plea deal?
