Over the top and vile. The jury saw the true victims of torture in the crime scene photos. Libby and Abby with their throats cut open.
that's a bit over the top----a medieval torture rack?

I agree. The thing is, his treatment behind bars does warrant looking into. But to compare it to a medieval torture rack sounds overly dramatic and makes everything else they say questionable too. I think the defense treated the jury like they are unsophisticated and gullible, and I don't think that will be appreciated. The jury isn't a youtube audience looking for sensational angles on the case.

Not believing that BG is the killer, that the voice isn't his, and that he wasn't even involved in the crime, is a non-starter as far as a logical discussion goes.
That's like trying to have a conversation about space exploration and someone saying "we didn't land on the moon."
Here we go.1:40 p.m. The case has gone to the jury and the jury is currently in the process of choosing a foreman.

Delphi Murders trial: Day 18 live blog
Delphi Murders trial continues with closing arguments from both prosecution and defense. Jury will decide the fate of suspect Richard Allen.wishtv.com
We know he “frequently foraged for mushrooms” in the area and went there often. For all we know, he’d been there waiting on more than one occasion, and this was the opportunity he decided to take.I will bet he was waiting for a victim(s) that would go out on the bridge so he could get them down that hill and out of sight from the main trail.

I’m still angry that the alleged POW photo ever made it to media. It was for show and released while a gag order was in place. Thank the defense and the Franks.Well, he can't risk offending a jury member by using his previous prisoner of war comparison when someone might have a relative who has experienced this. He's probably pretty safe that no one is going to have a direct association with medieval torture devices.
That audio was of poor quality and it is simply too short to make a definitive conclusion of whose voice it is. That’s not the point though. The point is that audio came from the man in the video.2 seconds - 2 seconds of a voice only.
It isn't really enough to analyse or recognise and especially if it has been technically or electronically enhanced.
In the 5 years it circulated not one person stepped forward to a point a finger at anyone.

We keep them in the garage right next to the pile of ritualistic sticks where do other states keep theirs?Well, he can't risk offending a jury member by using his previous prisoner of war comparison when someone might have a relative who has experienced this. Cecil had no reason to see or handle the phone. To me the bigger problem is either the state's "expert" is that incompetent and did not bother to check the device for water or dirt, OR he did look for and knew there was no water or dirt in the port, but NM didn't ask about it because he didn't want the jury to know there was no such damage because lack of such damage screws up his timeline, and excludes RA based on the State's timeline.
"Cecil was asked if he examined Libby’s phone for water damage. He said it did not. He was asked if dirt was on the phone when it was found. He said he did not know." (bold and italics added by me). - https://fox59.com/news/delphi-murde...d-into-libbys-phone-removed-in-dead-of-night/
So yeah no, not buying that water triggered the headphone connection alert on the software. This is a critical failure on part of the State imo. They had the evidence to know that their timeline was incorrect and imo tried to hide it from the jury.
If I were the jury, I would be asking,Rozzi tells the jury Allen went to law enforcement after the murders in 2017 and was also cooperative in 2022.
He says Allen still cooperated after he knew he was a suspect.
Rozzi says “even through the face of lies, Allen stood strong.” He says Allen lived in the community and didn’t have a reason to leave because he didn’t do it.

It has always been my interpretation that the proseecution witness made a comment about not having the training the D witness had but it only took his 15 minute break to google and find out that moisture and dirt could have caused the problem. Maybe I read it wrong so just MOO.Or the defense witness - who has apparently not had training in 15 years, has never testified before about cell phone extractions and required 80 hours to prepare for very basic testimony at a cost of $24,000 - said something outlandishly incorrect.
That’s also a very real possibility.

RA would have told the girls not to scream or he’d kill them. And he did anyhow. From two of the lawyer youtubers. He said he had been napping and that he could have heard screams if he had been outside on the property.
Have always hated the "mushroom hunting" explanation as anyone local knows March is the earliest with April being the best time. I have a hard time believing he was hunting in Feb.We know he “frequently foraged for mushrooms” in the area and went there often. For all we know, he’d been there waiting on more than one occasion, and this was the opportunity he decided to take.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’d lurked there many times before, but only this once had the right opportunity or enough bravado to go through with it. MOO
