I think it doesn't matter. If he didn't do those interviews we would find that suspicious as well i feel like. Most of this kind of incidents are someone close to the victim that are involved.

That was indeed super weird. Like all the small weird points he does/say's just come together as a big issue that is impossible to ignore. Very fishy. Like the phone thing in the interview, the different details he gives. Some of his body language.
