No. If they were in witness protection they would not be in the same area they were born and raised, amongst other things. This is just not the case here.
forgive me if I'm mistaken but didn't the neighbor who gave all the interviews say that her dog was acting strange around 1 am? obviously police were beginning to arrive and that might draw attention but its possible the dog was reacting prior to LE arrival... and who knows how accurate her...
IMO, just applying Occam's razor, the motive would be to take Jayme since she was taken from the home and the parents killed inside the home. This is just based on what is known so far but if I were applying it to this case, and based on only what has been shared with the public, that would be...
I completely agree. At this point it really could be anyone. If it was someone close to the family I feel like LE would know by now or at least have a pretty good idea. Who knows, maybe they do we just don't know about it. They could have a POI for all we know but don't want to tip that...
Im beginning to think that whoever took her was a loner. Maybe he didn't have a job to be at everyday, so no one is noticing him missing. I think she's being held at a hunting cabin or something further north but that is JMO. I think the perp very casually knew the family and might be from a...
Just saw the alert this morning on a billboard on a major bridge connecting southern NJ and Philadelphia. That was the first one I have seen around here.
Prayers to the family today as they bury their loved ones. I know it was said in the obituary that Denise loved angels...may angels lead...
I don't know much about the geography up there but could someone cross into Canada from that county even if it requires crossing part of Lake Superior?
Maybe family or close associates have land there that they wanted to check out? Maybe they found paperwork or documents in the home relating...
I asked this in a previous thread but got no responses. Do you guys think LE has recovered all evidence/info they possibly can from social media, family computers, cell phones, etc? I'm not sure how long this generally takes. Interested in thoughts on this.
Thanks for putting this together. I would have trouble telling them apart on surveillance video, especially if the quality of the video wasn't great but again, I know absolutely nothing about different makes and models of cars. Either way I'm sure the investigators have been made aware of this...
Im not from Wisconsin so I just googled but it looks like depending on the route, and with standard traffic patterns its anywhere from 3.5 to 4 hours from Barron to Oshkosh heading in a south east direction. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
I live near a major city and its very common around here. Theres one river that is particularly known for it. Usually the cars are dumped if they were involved in a crime, at least around here but again, I'm 3 miles from the border of a major east coast city.
thanks! I know nothing about cars. I do have a new Dodge Durango but thats about as far as my knowledge on Dodge vehicles goes. I showed my husband, who is obsessed with cars and motorcycles, the picture and asked if it could be mistaken for a challenger on surveillance footage and he laughed...
If this goes to trial (which I firmly believe it will) any inconsistency in media statements from this couple will likely be far outweighed by the rest of the evidence that will be presented by the prosecution. JMO
I believe I read that the neighbor told LE that she had seen a similar orange challenger at the Jenny-O plant parking lot and that this car and the person driving it was cleared.
Sounds to me like she was just trying to explain how thorough the search inside was. I would be shocked if they didn't check outside. I'm pretty sure they did check outside the whole area surrounding the home, which would likely include their property. I will try to find a link
I guess I just don't see how they are incriminating themselves. Why would they need an attorney? It appears that they cooperated with searches of their property and answered questions the FBI asked. JMO
I would think it would be normal for her Aunt to wait for her at the Closs home. It might have been beneficial to Jayme to return from school to her own home, do her homework, eat, relax after school where she lives and has a routine. She is lucky to have family members that help with these...
