<modsnip> LE takes "armloads" of things from every SW they serve in every case, in every jurisdiction, in every country around the world. That doesn't mean squat. It's called due diligence. It's their job. RL isn't special. LE has done dozens of other searches on other properties, homes...

He didn't mean that LE did RL a 'favor' in that sense...He meant that by LE searching the property again and not finding anything of evidentiary value, means that RL is NOT involved in the murders of Abby and Libby. It's pretty obvious to me RL isn't the killer as well. Obviously, YMMV...

LE doesn't have enough evidence that points to it being a SK. They can't know if it's a SK or not until they arrest the killer. LE says things such as this all the time. If you look at pretty much every thread here at the beginning of a missing person's case, LE usually says, "There is no...

There's about a 0.00001% chance that a kidnapper/killer would bring their victims back to where they were abducted from. It's even lower if they were being brought back alive. Too much risk. MOO (Sorry if I sound grouchy..it's because I am :D )

Thanks. I knew all that. :) It still doesn't negate the fact that it would be pretty stupid of a killer to "kidnap" 2 girls, take them to a 2nd location, kill them, and bring them back to the original "kidnap" spot. That will never resonate with me. I've been involved in teaching some...

Even Otis Toole, who had an IQ in the low 70's dumped his victims in hard to find places. (Most of them, anyway) It just makes no sense to me.
