HIPAA(correct acronym)_.....does in fact cover anyone who works in the doctors office or health insurance company. It also applies to a doctor denying a diagnoses.
It wouldn't cover a family member but they don't know the private diagnoses due to HIPAA. Unless they were told by said patient...

I start worrying way too early. I had a traumatic attack when I was a young adult (edited to add while I was in a coma)and it took a day before my father was contacted. I also had a child with a serious health issue. Maybe because of that I worry all the time if I don't hear from my adult...
IMO gossip about his death does nothing. While I know his mother spoke out and I take her statement to heart, if nothing else comes out we should leave at it is so sad such a seemingly nice guy died.
I haven't posted in the past couple days because I was so annoyed by the "this is what happened" statements that I knew I would end up getting my typing hands slapped!
As I posted before, one of my children was a sleepwalker and we had some scary incidents including him leaving the house. Even...
I must admit over time when seeing brief interviews with Kelly I felt for her. It wasn't something I gave a lot of thought to other than "so sad the kids cannot be with Mom". Thank you for the poster who posted the link to the court papers. That was eye opening and I feel so bad for those...
If you see my last post I meant to quote you. I just think we all need to add IMOO to our responses unless we are professionals. I went thru this for many years with one of my children but I am not an expert and I cannot give answers that are definite. It just bugs me because I know everything...
Maybe I am out of line but I thought that nothing was to be expressed as a fact unless it is main stream media. To me it seems that that posts that you are expressing as fact should have IMOO.
Everything I say is IMOO unless I add a link.
I just wish you would not say if things were conclusive...
As a mother of a child who slept walked I can believe it could be related to sleepwalking. I had a sleepwalker who ate, rearranged furniture, etc. The very first time I woke up to him banging on the door because he left the house and locked up scared me to death. We had alarms put in. He could...
I don't disagree Dana. Many years ago I was a Baltimore City resident. It was when the murder rate was in the 300's but I was lucky to live in Roland Park which was a "rich" and protected area. I am concerned with overpolicing but I also know when we had a Police Commisioner from New York, Ed...
IMO a Porsche is not that out of the ordinary in the DC Metro area. I live between Baltimore and there are a lot of high end cars around.
ETA...I didn't link the post I was responding to. It was saying that the perp couldn't drive the Porsche without being noticed.
How do we know what their income is?
I know there are certain things we tend to assume but I know that my deceased fathers case, he worked in mid level management and lived very modestly. No one beyond his closest family and maybe a few close friends knew that financially he was very well off.
As a Marylander, I am sickened. The second the man asked for medical assistance he should have gotten it.....That is ALL. I am a huge supporter of the police and firefighters but they should have called a medic
I understand overpolicing but also I did see something and I cannot link. Believe it was on WBAL that Freddie may have been an actor in his arrests for the community and once inside the precinct he was a bit of an informant.
I once again will say the first time he asked for medical assistance...

This is an older story on Ms. Bledsoe but I found it interesting because in it then candidate Mosby talks about the need for a special prosecutor, something she is against now.
"Why wouldn't Gregg Bernstein...
