    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 18th June - Trial Day 6, Week 2

Yes, very. But we have to trust they had enough to take it to trial. There's a lot of witnesses yet. :please:

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 18th June - Trial Day 6, Week 2

Do we know if GBC is left or right handed? Because, to me, the screwdriver story only makes sense if he's left - i.e. holding it in his left, slips and damages the right. Don't get me wrong - I don't believe the story for a second, but wonder if the police were thinking that too?

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 18th June - Trial Day 6, Week 2

Just out walking the dog, and thinking about the girls, and had a horrible thought …. if GBC is found not guilty, do they go back to live with him? Can't imagine what that would do to the Dickies

I don't think they had any money for decorating. Poor Alison.

Will the Find my Phone app look for just a SIM card? That would be pretty easy to bury/hide … easier than a phone.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 18th June - Trial Day 6, Week 2

It just seems like such an intentionally hurtful thing to say - and very belittling, as you say. He really took every shred of self-esteem and dignity he could away from her. :maddening:

Just posted as the last thread was closed! Does anyone have a link to the diary where Alison mentions that Gerard said she smelled? Someone mentioned it on here yesterday. Thanks to those in court today. It really helps for those of us further away.

Has the idea of him suffocating her with a pillow been discounted? Seems to me she would then have had both hands free to cause the scratches etc.

Good point. The worst thing is knowing that we may never know

The marks on the chest look like scratches, but through clothing, to me. That poor girl fought hard. And the $20 in her account is heartbreaking. Bet Gered had more cash. He strikes me as a 'there's your housekeeping - that's all you're getting' type.
