What other angles of the case can we discuss? After over a dozen threads on this case, there isn't much that hasn't been touched upon. We have some photos, we have audio recording of 3(4) words, and we have a timeline (drop-off time, snapchat photo time, etc.)... people are going to go back to...
I think this is someone who spends a lot of time in the woods. He wears a fanny pack. He walks across this bridge with this hands in his pockets, almost casual like in the one photo. He knows these woods. JMO
It's one of those things. There are people who see it right away, and others who only see distortion. I'm not even sure where the image I used came from.. I mean it came from this forum, but I'm not sure where the other poster got it from/or if they enhanced it themselves.
I can't take credit for that photo, someone posted it in thread #12, post 666. They were pointing out something else with the image, but I saw a face; so I sharpened it and applied some filters. I don't know how to blend two photos. I made a mirror image of it, but I don't know how to overlay it.
This photo, was a face added? This is the photo from post #666 in thread 12. I sharpened and added emboss filter and hit "clarity" slider on it. You'll want to download this and use zoom feature to see the "face".
I had posted the question, I think it was in the last thread.
"Where did the photo in thread 12/post #666 come from? I see half of a face, the guy's left eye and nose, goatie. Especially when zoomed in. I took the image from the post and sharpened it a bit. Added "emboss" filter (I don't...
Well, I'd like to know if the face one is in fact real and not overlaid with another face. I think that is what he means by fake. Not the actual attempt at trying to sharpen the images, or use them to judge where people were at certain time and place.. but adding trucks and faces to the images.
I wish they wouldn't do that because one of the face ones startled me. I thought, wow, I'm looking at the killer's face and nobody's talking about it. Then later when I asked, someone said people have been doctoring images.
I'm not sure why that matters. If he was gone or not. I'm not suggesting he would have been caught that evening. He was certainly much further away by the time they were found on Monday. I'm not blaming police, but I do wish they had continued searching. The girls were found not that far...
I'm not sure I think the guy is in his 40s anymore. Any chance this crime was committed by an older student? Not necessarily one from their own school, but surrounding area. Or was it just Carrol county schools that were closed that Monday?
I would think it wouldn't matter if they'd had his picture or not? If they had been found that evening, resources would have been directed to finding suspects right away, whatever is involved in that.
but what if they had found them that evening? it would have went from a search and rescue mission, to a homicide investigation, switching their search for a suspect(s).
