I think I've got a pretty good grasp on how the AP works. However, when it comes to the article I posted above, I'm under the impression that was an interview by a local reporter in Oklahoma where Stacy and her family were from. I could be wrong.
I'm a little confused by your post. The newspaper carrier saw a van on kentwood. We don't know where exactly porch lady lived. The above article I posted had nothing to do with the newspaper carrier. Porch lady lived 15 blocks from delmar. The article was not saying kentwood was 15 blocks away...

I was reading some old NL articles from the first year of the investigation recently and came across an interesting little tidbit:
"A witness said that at 6:30 to 7 a.m. on June 7 she saw a dusty gray-green van driven by someone that looked like Streeter. The witness said she heard a male...

Please....let's not all go to the verifying and/or providing sources battle. Let's just stick to the rules. If you can't provide a source, don't mention it. I really want us all to get along this time and try to help in any way we can. This post is directed to everyone!
Would be interesting to know how many registered sex offenders were living in a 3 mile radius of delmar at the time. Wouldn't they be considered just as suspect as Cox?
ETA: Anyone know? Was that info ever published in the news?

Another scenario could be; the girls were watching TV in bed and heard a noise outside and then turn the TV down to get a better listen to what was going on outside. According to one of the news articles, it was pretty routine for Suzie to have the TV on late at night due to trouble sleeping...

Oh, I completely agree. You make valid points. I was just trying to point out that statistically, victims are more likely to know their attacker vs a random attack. IMO, that seems like an extra incentive to make them "disappear" and leave people wondering what happened to them and question if...
I've always thought the women were the motive as well. One major reason I discount the robbery theory is because of the money left behind in Sherrill's purse. I also find it highly coincidental that two young attractive women are out late at night and disappear that same night. One possible...
"On the heels of World AIDS Day comes a stunning medical breakthrough: Doctors believe an HIV-positive man who underwent a stem cell transplant has been cured as a result of the procedure.
Timothy Ray Brown, also known as the "Berlin Patient," received the transplant in 2007 as part of a...
Looks like there might be a resolution in this case!
"The .38-caliber revolver wielded by a gunman killed last weekend trying to rob an Orland Park tanning salon matches the weapon used in the October "honeybee" shootings that killed one and wounded two in Illinois and Indiana, sources said...
Yea, I think she knows she is doomed. I'm paraphrasing here, but in the 48 hrs episode, she stated she was probably going to spend the rest of her life in jail for a crime she didn't commit. She said she had good and bad days in jail. Some days thinking she is going to be found guilty and other...
I am wondering if there is anyone willing to contact the Illionis detective in charge of Deborah's case about the possible match? I'm sorry, but I'm too chicken. I could send an email, but based on previous experiences that would more than likely take forever to get a response.
I know she has...
