The temptation is to take the fact that the drivers of the two cars have not come forward, and to reach the conclusion that the two cars MUST be relevant. That is a risky assumption to make, because I think by far the commonest abduction scenario is a lone perpetrator, who cannot drive two cars...

Maybe the cars were parked on the roadside because they weren't visiting any house. The cars were reportedly parked near a telephone pole. Maybe they were visiting the pole? Could it have been people putting some kind of notices on telephone poles?

Another indication that the interval (between hearing 'raar' and discovering WT was not there) may have been only a few seconds, is the shock expressed on finding he is not at the perceived location of the 'raar', and even circling on that spot. Verbatim from an interview (sorry I forget the...

What was the time interval between hearing "raar", and going round the corner of the house and seeing WT was not there? Some reporting implies it was as much as even 5 minutes. However the following suggests that it may have been a much shorter interval. From 60minutes at 8:54s: "he went just...

FM reportedly had a good enough view of the cars to see that the driver windows were open. Probably not from the driveway while the children were reportedly riding bikes, because not a good view from there? So possibly it was while she was playing with WT near celerywood tree that she noticed...

Det Jubelin in 60minutes says it's unlikely that an abductor walked up to the house, and instead suggests abduction from the roadside. That may be a sound assumption if it was an opportunistic abduction. But if it was a planned abduction, isn't it likely the perp might have walked up to the house?

Here is another view approximately from the location of the 2 cars, I circled the celerywood tree where WT and his FM had been playing that morning.

Thanks richieswan for your map accurately showing the location of the 2 cars. Here is the view of the house, approximately from the location of those cars.

The reverse. A wheel with a known diameter is as good as a tape measure. I think the old redtops are either 120L or 140L? I've checked only one manufacturer site, it lists 200mm wheels on both those sizes.

Did the old (pre Sept 2014) redtop bins have 200mm diameter wheels?

@richieswan I have been reading your post about the bin replacement program http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?291878-Australia-William-Tyrrell-3-Kendall-NSW-12-Sept-2014-18/page16&p=12105576#post12105576 Just adding that you can see a benaroon dr bin day (old style bins) on g...

Is it possible that a car drove up the road, which by chance (no planning, just chance) was of same colour and shape as FF car?

Image by http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ I added yellow and green If WT walked off the deck intending to go to the driveway to wait for FF car, he would have turned left off the deck and into the carport (yellow) and driveway. But WT turned right (green) off the deck, away from the carport and driveway.

One possible scenario that has been suggested is that WT might have gone to somewhere near the roadside to look out for his father returning. Would a child of 3 doing this be more probable to go to A, or B, or C ? Image source http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ (You can get higher resolution at that...

This is mainly to recommend the hi res aerial imagery available at http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ I added green: direction WT went when last seen (approximately as described in 60minutes documentary), blue: rainwater tank, and purple: stormwater kerb inlet. I can't find the septic tank.

The risk of small children falling accidentally falling into septic tanks is known. At the house WT was staying at, was the septic tank searched, or wasn't it? If it wasn't searched, was it because the covers were found to be completely secure and screwed down? And if it was searched, how did...

Earlier I posted a case of a 1yr old child in GA accidentally and unintentionally entering a slot shaped kerb inlet, feet-first. The sequence was something like: the child sat on the top slab, then put a foot (or maybe both?) into the opening, then stood up to get the foot(feet?) out, but...

Thanks for the grated surcharge pit suggestion lampshade1. About the endwalls you suggested before, I have been using http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ and can see part of the intermittent watercourse running along part of the south perimeter of the development, even a little footbridge over it. Also...
