I find it interesting how things have played out this week; Parents make a heartfelt plea (finally), police reveal a possible peodaphile ring in the Kendall area and now BS has been charged on child sex offences.

Possibly. This could be a tactic to put the pressure on in regards to William. My thoughts would be that maybe the victims were sisters (3 and 6 years) maybe the older child saw what happened to the younger? Food for thought. Well done to these women for coming forward :clap:

I agree. Those weeks of hearing nothing has amounted to this new information. Not a coincidence that's the parents have finally come forward. It almost makes me wonder if the police feel he's still alive and hoping a plea from his family might finally convince someone to come forward (my opinion...

People like this are often placed on detention orders after they have served their prison sentence.

Thanks Fruity...I was editing my post when you replied. So in September 2014 he was in prison for assault (threatened guards) Then in October he was interviewed in relation to the threats and charged. When was he released from prison? How does someone who threatens to go on a 'homicidal...

This probably won't come out until he's found guilty. I think most people can 'read between the lines' and he should NEVER have been living on his own, in the community. Someone has stuffed up big time. I'm outraged and sickened. Can't even fathom how the victims family feel.

Which REALLY makes me wonder why the searches of WS house and subsequent bushland searches (close to his house) were so heavily publicised? So sad that it's been 6 months.

There must be something 'forensic' that links him or someone he knows. I just can't shake the feeling that he is involved somehow.

Police will be holding a press conference on Channel 9 at 2pm. The news reported it would be briefing the press in regards to the current searches and other searches in the coming weeks.

I too, find it odd that the spelling of his name has suddenly changed. One of the 'find William' pages on FB has changed its name overnight (so the spelling matches) Spedding must be involved somehow. Maybe not the person who took him? But involved in the cover up? Or knows who took him...

Agree. I've been checking updates all day. I imagine his family has been doing the same given the searches being carried out today. I can't even fathom reading about bones being found if police were searching for my child. Devastating. The media really has no respect ��

I hope so too...I guess there's every chance they are given it's thick bushland. I don't get a good feeling about today's developments :(
