I just saw the man interviewed where she said she knocked on the door. He says no one knocked on the door but there was a man throwing something at the house during the storm. Hmm.
Its really a mess. Its really heart breaking to see what has happened to folks. Around here people keep as much as 45 gallons of gas on hand. We all learned a long time ago to be prepared for long outages.
Hearing that woman screaming on the news, 'out of food, out of water, please don't...
I hope the same good things are going on tht happened here. Churches were supplying good dinner every day. I drove up and got them for all my neighbors. FEMA will come if you file a report. i must have done it by phone because our power was out. Fema was giving people who apts got trashed...
I spoke to our local Salvation Army on monday. They have wharehouses filled with food. Not to worry, if its needed it will be headed north. There are wharehouses all over the state of Florida.
Just have faith. :)
i keep wondering about the wildlife in the north. I would imagine they are moving inland because of the flooding, snakes, rats etc. Everyone needs to be careful.
Got to love this, it must be catching. Freezing cold here, 53 degrees, and a power outage, something like 3000 people. We had Sandy last week for goodness sake.
