Am chiming in here, with virtually nothing to add, but want to get something out of my mind before I GO out of my mind. We have so many more questions than answers, so many more rumors than reports, but I seem to remember something, and would love to have it cleared up-I'm thinking I can't be...

Merry Christmas to everyone here. My computer's been down-couldn't log in. Sometimes I could read, sometimes I just got a gray screen, sometimes it kicked me off the internet entirely. So-I'm back to my old computer, just in time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and to remind us all...

This is totally apropos of nothing...just interesting and due to a few of the comments above: I was telling my daughter Thursday night about this case. She was somewhat familiar with it, but didn't know many details. She wanted to know how LE found Somer, and when I told her, she said, "Mom...

OK, Hubby said to close my Firefox, reopen this forum. Now it's all OK again. I dunno. Instead of the icons (like quote, multiquote, Thanks, and avatars, I had words telling me what they did. All I had to do was move my mouse over it-not click anything, just move my mouse over it, and it all...

O/T I have had computer problems all day, even after the virus clean-up last week. Now all of my information is out of skew. I have to click on avatars to get them to show up, the formatting is waay out of whack, and nothing looks the same except for the posts. But...after I posted just now...

Well, I already used that when I was showing my disgust at that laughing hyena who portrayed herself as a caring member of LE during the press conference. Just FYI, I did not receive an answer. Hey-is she still doing the PR work for them? I mean not FOR them...it's more like against them.

Ping, I've checked this with shade-tree experts, and there is no reason whatsoever that anyone can think of why those tanks would have had soot beside them. It's just that they work like a gas tank in a vehicle. Gas in, gas out. No soot, I don't think, unless someone else can contradict this...

Human, you're right, (of course). In my mind, I keep seeing the tanks further down. Still wonder why that little boy is the only one we've heard of that saw her there that day, though. Key words are 'that we've heard of.' There may have been 20 more. I think that information came before the gag...

As Human pointed out, "So she runs from her sibs, disappears, is seen alone by the tanks..." But we don't know WHERE by the tanks, do we? I know they are fenced, but I don't believe we ever heard if she was on the grass beside them, behind them, or still on the sidewalk. Seems to me that if...

Love your cakes, Cam. Wish you'd been here to do one for my dad. LOL (They re-did it, and immediately!)

Totally O/T Cam, you made me laugh out loud. My dad was 90 in April. Still up and going, very spry and active. I wanted a VERY special cake-I told them all I wanted on it was: 9 0, as thick and bold as you can make it. And that's exactly what I got on the cake: 90 AS THICK AND BOLD AS YOU CAN...

I don't have access to it, but perhaps Ancestry.com would show a relationship between H and M S?

This may be the most minor thing ever in relation to what was different 'that day' but remember it was the first cool day there. It may NOT be minor in the long run, though, because of the hat and especially the scarf that Somer wore to school, in that possibly the scarf played a role in her death.

Tara, try Firefox. I went to it when Greta V S said it's what she uses. (This was a couple of years ago, before I lost respect for her).

My, computer had a complete meltdown just last week. Took hubby 2 days to fix it. Now, I had had g'kids over the weekend before who were definitely on my computer, but I had gone to F/B for the first time in about a month, just 2 days before it completely crashed. The virus spyware we put on...

That's a waay good idea, houndstooth! O/T It's just like I've always said about hearing aids. They should take a page from the eyewear industry and make hearing aids a status symbol, complete w/designer endorsements-not try to hide them and make them invisible. They could come in colors...
