Like it or not, he is being investigated for a possible crime. It would seem crazy to treat him as an offical victim until he is cleared, like any other suspect is treated here. Brown is dead and is being sleuthed and treated as a criminal here, and none of us KNOW what happened yet.

He also made threats to kill peaceful protesters. And people got good footage of it. Pointing his gun at the crowd isn't enough to get a cop fired, plenty of them did that.

IMHO, I think a lot of people feel this is dubious because it was not in the first press conference. It seems that OW did not speak to anyone about the robbery thing even though he somehow communicated other important details to them. That, and the lack of any written report is what is so...

Thanks! But the Baden was just preliminary as well. (see link) I think he said he would eventually get X rays and gun residue reports before doing a final report. I read mixed reports about the why no gun powder resude at all- some say Brown was already swabbed and or washed, so he would...

Yes, I hope to see DNA, gun residue as well as finger prints clear enough to tell the real story. *crosses fingers*

Is there a link to any FINAL autopsy reports? I thought there were only preliminary from Baden and references made to another preliminary. Thanks!

I know undercover and off duty police do not have to wear name tags- that is why I said on duty. On uniformed duty. There are codes of conduct that LE agree to while on duty as to what constitutes being "in uniform". I remember my brother saying people were writtten up for having part of...

Still looking for a link that says the Chief told them to do this. Do you have one? This link only explains that the police were scared, but not that anyone authorized them to be "out of uniform". I have tried to find a response that clarifies the FPD codes on this, but so far have found zip.

And he failed to say if they were breaking their own rules, which I imagine means they were- and passed the buck to the FPD.

No, she brought her child to Mc Donalds.Where her child was arrested for not leaving the bathroom quickly enough. Did you see the video footage of the cops storming the place? It was unreal, IMHO.

Maybe because the FPD is funding is operations by unfairly and excessively targeting people in this community, for their own profit? That is an issue being looked at...

Here's an excellent link to help inform the discussion: http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/jurisprudence/2014/08/ferguson_s_constitutional_crisis_first_amendment_violations_are_only_part.html

Jaywalking came out of the mouth of the police Chief, also linked in media thread. Are you saying he changed his story?

I asked for a link about them being allowed to work out of offical uniform, or refuse to ID themselves while arresting citizens- not seeing either of these things there? Thanks!

This is one of three I recall from that week- "Lowery said he repeatedly asked for the name or badge number of the officers involved and was denied." http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2014/08/13/washington-post-reporter-arrested-in-ferguson/

Are you saying Ferguson police do not have to wear full uniform while on duty? Link please. Most LE agencies do have detailed and strict regulations about that. As well as procedures that arresting officers must ID themselves, which was refused- hence the filing against "John Doe". I siad...

You're welcome Gypsy- I hope I spelled it right, it is the same stuff as sugarless gum, and available at GNC and Amazon, etc. It is well known in Europe(where FDA laws are different) to be very good for the teeth, gums and ear canals as well. The gum has shown to help a decrease in ear...

How in the world could these attorneys force these cops into rogue acts? IYO, how would that happen?

2/3 of the budget comes from fines given to their constituents. I need to find the article, but there's a ridiculously high rate of fines levied for non-violent offenses in that community. There's been a lot about that in the news. I believe that is part of what the DOJ is looking into.
