Juror, who is a criminal defense attorney, said the friend implied she should recuse herself from the jury. #JasonCorbett
No...he's not breathing....I can't find a pulse....I am 'somewhat familiar' with emergency response and WE NEED HELP NOW! I am interested to see what explanation is put forward for this lack of emotion. IMO it reflects badly on the FBI as a whole if their training desensitizes agents from basic...
Of course, that is much more probable. Sorry brain hasn't quite kicked into gear yet!
I only re-listened to the 911 call last week, I spent the entire first four minutes silently shouting at the computer for someone, anyone to start to help him. It is just devastating.
There is no indication...
Perhaps this is exactly why the prosecution have requested information on any formal training and courses that TM undertook during his time as an FBI agent.
It is overwhelmingly sad. My hope is that at the end of this process they are able to draw a line under everything. To finally put these last few years to rest and to be able to move on and grieve in private. To no longer be under the spotlight and judged for a situation far beyond their...
Thanks Stephen!
I find this whole process fascinating, that you know so much about the jurors and their potential conflicts of interest. They seem to be doing a very thorough job, so we have 4, another 8 to go Maybe opening arguments by Monday at this rate?
As far as I am aware we do not have any knowledge of which motions will be admitted and which will be dismissed thus far, so it is all supposition on our part. Hopefully we will know more after jury selection.
Exactly!! If the defense can argue one was coerced and the prosecution can argue the originals were coerced, what is the point in introducing them at all?
We don't actually know at this point who asked Jack to lie in the original interviews. They were surrounded by adults with a vested interest after their father's death, it is possible that people who are used to covering for Molly tried to 'encourage' Jack to do the same. The kids spent alot of...
Just watched this show for the first time - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5827228/
Apt, given where we are in the trial just now. Gives a great insight into how each side could be analysing potential jurors!
(a little light relief, before the onslaught of the trial)
If a person was manic and over medicated, and then they suddenly came off all medication do you know what kind of effect this could have? (Just wondering as you seem to have a good knowledge of the pharmaceutical side of things)
Slightly off topic, but it must be so hard to be sitting there for jury selection knowing that your future is literally in these people's hands....and then they lie?! They must have their hearts in their mouths. This decision is so important!
It certainly seems that way....I wonder how the jury will perceive the fact that Molly has already admitted striking him though? Not sure what you mean about the excessive force?

Voluntary Manslaughter charges dropped....charged with second degree murder ONLY!
Is anyone else following Michael Hewlett on Twitter? https://twitter.com/mhewlettwsj?lang=en
It certainly gives insight as to why his editorials are so ropey!
