No. I think the differing opinions regarding the abductor being local or not are partly due to the discrepancy of whether or not a vehicle was involved.

I've read a little bit about it. Whenever there are cases with similar circumstances and time frames (within a few years of each other) it always makes wonder if there's any possibility of a connection.
Well, it's not impossible for everyone. You can buy fire wood, too. And it gets expensive. Though, I doubt DR bought his fire wood. But it's another reason to not want anyone stealing it.
