No. I think the differing opinions regarding the abductor being local or not are partly due to the discrepancy of whether or not a vehicle was involved.

Welcome, 777. Why do you think the abductor asked for the boys' ages? Doesn't this indicate that there is a motive? I'm curious to know your thoughts.

Yes, goalie skates are different that regular hockey skates.

I think it depends on what he's been told, and we just don't know what that is.

The only thing I can say to that is to listen to or read interviews with recovered kidnapped children.

Good question. Maybe Jacob (or whoever the boy was) just saw an opportunity and took it. Or the kidnapper just made a stupid mistake on his part.

All he needed was a quarter, at most. The world is filled with loose coins. They are not hard to come by.

Give kids some credit. They are smarter than you think. They can figure out electronics and technology before they can even read. Jacob was 11. I have no problem believing he was able to use a pay phone.

I have two questions: 1. Did the dogs actually hit on the chest or did LE just come across the chest and saw what looked to them to be some sort of blood residue? 2. Did DR say it was blood residue because that's what LE told him or is he actually telling us that because that's what he...

The abductor did not ask the boys their names, only their ages.

I received an e-mail with a link to an article about ELOCsoul's book. I hope it's OK that I post the link here. If not, please let me know and I will delete it. http://volumeone.org/articles/2015/04/13/8957_enduring_mystery

I've read a little bit about it. Whenever there are cases with similar circumstances and time frames (within a few years of each other) it always makes wonder if there's any possibility of a connection.

Well, it's not impossible for everyone. You can buy fire wood, too. And it gets expensive. Though, I doubt DR bought his fire wood. But it's another reason to not want anyone stealing it.

It takes a lot of time and energy to cut down down trees and organize a wood pile. I wouldn't want anyone stealing my wood, either.

The farm is in a rural area. There are trees everywhere. You can get a lot of firewood from just one tree. I'm confused about why you are concerned about where he got the trees. My family owns property in a rural area. We like to keep the property neat and clean, including our wood piles...

As far as I know, there has been no indication that anyone left the driveway and headed towards the woodpile. Is this just your assumption?
