I am right there with exactly what Philigumbo says ... he had been stalking Ilona, knew the mall was open late, watched the pattern of where she was picked up, but didn't know it was going to be THAT late that she was off work. He intercepted Gianni then, who could have been going to the mall...

I'm back to leaning toward the suspect being enamored of Ilona. Maybe he thought he'd kidnap her but then he saw the light of her phone and changed his mind? Maybe they had crossed paths in MV mall before after all? The more we find out, the more confused I get!

KGTV reported that suspect worked at Target for 8 years and they also showed a photo of the arrest warrant ... on that warrant, you could clearly read that the suspect had a DNA sample taken previously. I'm hoping for a link soon and I will update this post!
