Laura Babcock Murder Trial 12.06.17 - Closing Arguments - Day 2

Agreed. And I would expect that TD and JT won many a legal battle to get to this point where there is little evidence against their client. Just MOO based on their performance in the TB trial - they are very, very good.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 12.06.17 - Closing Arguments - Day 2

The Crown basically handed this closing to Dungey! They must have something in their back pocket to reinforce the love triangle?! Otherwise I am still confused as to why they even tabled this “motive”?

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.29.17 - Day 24

I suspect more MS-related evidence was argued out of the trial. If the Crown has him for M1 for obtaining the guns, why not also for WM then? I think there is something more.

I wish someone had asked him how the girl he saw in the nut store, was paying. He said she was at the cashier buying items.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.22.17 - Day 20

Tru is like saying “yes”, “agreed”.. along those lines. My husbands employees say it all the time and it made me feel old bc I had to ask too lol

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.22.17 - Day 20

This is only the second trial I have followed so closely. You have to keep in mind how little the crown has to work with, although what they do have is quite convincing IMO. I find the loose ends frustrating but I believe most of them will get cleared up once the jury is sequestered. Much...

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.22.17 - Day 20

Sorry to quote myself, I’m posting without finishing my thoughts... I mean the one that has been referenced with regards to the zombie-killing ammo. Per his little friend’s testimony in the TB trial. Sorry guys I’ve had a long day, my mind is mush.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.22.17 - Day 20

I took it as attempt to show that it would not have been in DM’s interest to confide this in anyone, because they all would have done the right thing and called the police. With my take on this crew, I had a hard time typing that with a straight face. MOO.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.22.17 - Day 20

So is this the gun that MS supposedly “wanted” but DM got instead? Or is there a third handgun?

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.21.17 - Day 19

Not at all. “A wolf in sheeps clothing” comes to mind.

Agreed. She may mature, but she has to live with the decisions that she made. And I would never pity her for that, or feel badly for her. We all make our beds.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 11.16.17 - Day 17

I believe his tactic is to emphasize MS’ lack of involvement. He has no questions for any witness that had little to no involvement with MS, and no testimony about him. It seems, to my unprofessional self, a more mature approach than to go up and ask “you never discussed this with my...
