BIB Hi Allan see what you mean there. It looks like there is a rather deep rut worn into the porcelain.

    Discussion Thread #60 - 14.9.12 ~ the appeal~

I am assuming that the photo was one of the first series taken on Feb 14. The other photos shown under the Crime Scene tab show the scene as it was found, before anything was moved for further investigation. Oh yes, if only the forensics had been more thorough. I do see some reflections in...

Here is a close-up of the toilet bowl. It is from the Eye Witness News article on "Behind the Door" under the Crime Scene tab. We finally got some high resolution photos, but they present only more questions for me. There are a couple of small wood fragments on the side of the bowl, just above...

Homegirl, did you make these? If you did, well... they're AMAZING!! The second one gave me chills… Thanks ColonelMustard. I am replying to this post since the other one closed. I did the collages in photoshop. I just wanted to do something constructive to ease frustrations and sadness...

    Trial Discussion Thread #58 - 14.17.10, Day 47 ~ sentencing~

AlexUK, your comment got me thinking. I feel like eradicating Oscar from every photo he was ever in with Reeva, to take her back from that monster, and to replace him with the people who really love Reeva. That is the beauty of Photoshop and, yes, it is wonderful. The composites I did were from...

Yes, quite possibly. I wonder what their usual procedures are. It seems to me that they should have catalogued tiles, the pieces of the door, etc. They are probably underpaid and overworked as well. They do not have the resources that many wealthier countries have to test evidence collected...

I agree with this. IMO Vermulen was the States weakest witness. He seemed confused and was confusing. I don't think that Nel did a good enough job with him either on direct or in rehabilitating after Rox's cross examination. IMO, the police did not properly analyze the crime scene.

Not only could the bat have been used before and after the shots, OP said that he shoulder butted and kicked the door. I think that he probably did these things, just not in the order he said they occurred. Those actions would not have been heard and neither would a prizing action with the bat...

Here are a couple of excerpts about the shorts from Juror 13.This was written before the photo of the top was released, obviously. I have not seen any photos of the shorts. I don't think any have been released. RIGHT HIP/GROIN http://juror13lw.wordpress.com/2014/03/10/oscar-pistorius-trial-day-6/

BBM I agree that the fans never moved. Another obstacle OP would have had to contend with, as he checked the floor curtain for Reeva, on his stumps, with gun in hand, screaming away in the dark, and again when he went onto the balcony to scream help x3 was his prosthetic legs. He said that they...

Good article! This helps me to understand the error JM made in law. I find this response by JG in the comment section to be very interesting. RBBM

Judgejudi, thank you for taking the time to do the transcriptions. :tyou: BBM This says it all for me. I have no doubt, reasonable or otherwise, that OP killed Reeva and that his entire ludicrous version(s) is a fabrication. It should have been rejected.

If I understand correctly, he worked with the police dept. and was trusted by Nel advise him on OP's behavior. I think he may have been playing good cop with OP, trying to gain his trust and to get him to talk.

BBM I have gone back and forth a bit about the ugly key in the door to the loo. If I was in the situation Reeva was in, I would probably lock the door, if the key was in it. I might pull it out of the lock if some manaic was bashing the door near the lock. On the other hand, I can think of...

Thanks KT. I derived the beginning and end firing positions from the Evidence room video. He must have described his movements to them. I do remember OP saying that he took a few steps back while firing but there was not much detail discussed in court. The best that I could do is to have the OP...

Thanks Judgejudi. I see that the link is working, so edited my post. It takes me a while because I am still learning to use my software, but it helps me a lot to understand things better. It will be challenging to decide which of OP's versions to use. I may have to do more than one for him. The...

RBBM I am just taking off on this point, Vantos, though I agree with everything you said. I have been working for a while, in 3D, on recreating some of the sequence of events on Feb. 14. I have done an animation recreating the actual shooting. I am not very good with animation. I have feet...

I don't understand what you mean. Maybe you can demonstrate with a pair of your jeans. I am boring myself with the folding of jeans. I think that you are right about the grout line in the tile.
