Explain what you feel is the logic, because I don't think anyone else is seeing that. Including all of the LE on this case. In fact there are only two parties that have any knowledge in the case that agree with you, both of whose judgment seems exceptionally clouded.

Their legal and HR have been getting their ducks in a row from at least Dec 6th, maybe the 5th, maybe before.... For sure people there found her odd/quirky etc at a minimum. What more we'll never know, as they have HIPAA and a lot of other privacy laws, lawyers and bankroll on their side...

I'm sorry bit you have no basis to evaluate how a PI does his job. Having exactly that basis myself, no colleague I know would consider HOW he went about the public discourse as efficacious or professional. It was embarrassing to the profession, ugly and generally sucktastic.
