Thanks for that video, nice call. It was interesting hearing the background information although it was a touch difficult understanding him at times as he talks fast.
Was reading an article in the papers about OP's first night in the clink, and one commentater wrote that the irony is that now OP very well may wake up and find a burglar in his toilet.
Sleeping in body armour every night must have taken some getting used to, and they can finally use the lavatory with the door shut which must be a relief.
I'm looking forward to Puppet Nation's take on the sentencing.
I just noticed that Puppet Nation, a few weeks ago, had a possible new job lined up for OP :p

Thank goodness OP didn't have a gun handy. He might have been tempted to show the same 'compassion' to the cameraman that he showed to the poor dog he shot. Can you imagine? Pulls his gun out and 'BAM!' "I thought I'd put him out of his misery my lady."
EDIT: Ooops, just realized OZe got that...
I thought the judge smirking with regard Roux's comment quite rude and disrespectful to Nel. She's been biased against Nel and in favour of Roux, who has always been extremely obsequious to her, since the start it appears to me.

Let us not forget, this is the judge that has had to have legal points explained to her during the trial along with things such as 'ricochet' and 'arterial' as she did not know what they were.

Interesting reading what some of the verdict predictions were for this case pre-trial last year:

"Well I couldn't have possibly foreseen that a leaf might be a dog poo, but arming yourself with a lethal weapon containing black talon bullets and not being able to foresee that you might kill someone??? JM's verdict is still ringing in my ears and I am still depressed about it...
That's a decent article. As someone commented on the piece itself:
"When justice is supposed to be done, and is supposed to be seen as being done - the majority of society including the victims of the crime and their loved ones, witnesses, legal experts, media and all ordinary people out there...
So long as you advance slowly, screaming at the top of your voice (although I wouldn't recommend "Get out of my *%#*&#* house!"), everything should be ok. :)
Here is a link to Sports Illustrated. The IPC told the BBC Pistorius would be welcome to resume training if/when he can.
