    NY - Karina Vetrano, 30, found murdered, Queens, 2 Aug 2016 #3

I read in one of the posts that the father would be open to using a psychic. When I first started doing PI work I had a 30+ year missing person case with a man who was in the Army but was stationed in Georgia. The family was looking to have him declared dead because property was in his name and...

GUILTY NY - 30 injured in Manhattan bombing, 17 Sept 2016 *Ahmad Khan Rahimi arrested*

It leads to another thought. If these guys are pilots they have the ability to go around security in Egypt and coming off a plane no one is checking them here. We are in deep Do Do. How would we disrupt a plot if any one or others decide to take one of these planes enroute to NYC or other places...

I don't find it odd that the father wants to hire a PI ,I think he is frustrated by the pace of the investigation but I agree with the amount of resources supplied by the NYPD and FBI hiring a PI of which I am one would be a waste of resources at this time. Others have mentioned Ken Brennan and...

I agree, I am a retired Det. Sgt. With the NYPD . I am also a licensed PI in NY . I am not sure what a PI from out of NY would bring to the table in this case. I am not sure if a PI would help at all in this case given the resources the NYPD has allotted to this case. Currently they have a task...

Unfortunately the liberal mayor of NYC and city council have decriminalized many of the revolting quality of life crimes. They have dismissed them as the failed "Broken windows theory".

That is the key to this investigation, if it is gang related as some on here have intimated pressure on the group such as warrant enforcement, special attention to the group which means full enforcement such asspitting on the sidewalk etc and having all these arrests go through the sysytem which...

I agree but him having access to the credit cards or Atm cards is not going to convict him of murder. Just puts him in the circle of suspects. I hate to say this but this case may be giving law enforcement many difficulties in prosecuting. As I have said before the lack of information to the...

Family who go on TV and tell everyone that their brother or whatever was home at the exact time the crime was committed is very commonplace. Law enforcement does not give any weight to that testimony. As far as gathering DNA yes normally you need a court order but law enforcement has ways of...

One of the things I do not understand is when the so called neighbor saw the guy with the hoody at her front door what did he do? As a neighbor if I saw something like that at that time of the morning I would have watched #1 and if I saw him force his way in or went into the house, I would have...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Granted Police do use confidential informants in the course of their investigations. your insinuation that cases only get solved because of informants is kind of insulting (retired law enforcement). Police work is tedious information given by informants is...

As I am sure you are aware you only get one shot at charging them with murder you have to have your ducks in a row. I agree totally with what AnaTheresa has stated.

I am a retired law enforcement with extensive investigative experience. They would be able to get the ballistics results within hours of receiving the weapon. From what I can see in the reporting or lack thereof in some instances is that because of the high profile and sensitive nature of the...

Thanks I saw three or four stipulations which would make it a death penalty case.

I do not know if Indiana has the death penalty but certainly a murder and brutality of this young woman deserves the death penaly. It is felony murder!

The police may do that in most cases but when it comes to murder especially in a high profile case the y will charge the person along with the district attorney. You only get one chance with a murder case (Double Jeopardy)

The recording in black and white indicates the camera using an infered technique. There were no lights on in the room.
