Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996-1997, Perth, Western Australia - #8 ARREST*

As children it is drummed into us to NEVER get in a car with a stranger! Several years ago, I was walking home from doing some grocery shopping, locally, a hot Summer's day and some "kind" person (a female) stopped to ask whether I needed a lift. I, automatically, said "No, thanks". :snooty...

Perhaps BE got rejected by attractive blonde girls? Who were looking for a guy with more "clout"? Weren't the girls Uni educated? I imagine that a Telstra Tech wouldn't be on their list as a possible hubby/father for their kids.

Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996-1997, Perth, Western Australia - #7 *ARREST*

Most people have never heard of this site. So don't fuss. It is all over the media and I doubt people will take too much notice of that in either ... it is almost Christmas, remember. Minds are elsewhere.

Australia - Warriena Wright, 26, dies in balcony fall, Surfers Paradise, Aug 2014 #10

He really is a creepy guy. Undoubtedly thinks he is God's Gift to women. NOT GUILTY of MURDER .... rubbish .... we will see this person in Court, again.

He might have to move to another State. No girl on the Gold Coast would touch him with a barge pole. What a creepy person he is.

So, what happens now? Do they rule it as a "suicide" or an "accident" since it wasn't a "murder"?

That's Queenslanders for you. We are much more polite the further South you go. :snooty:

We have had some people here saying that chocking is OK UNLESS they throw decorative rocks at you. Then it is "abuse" ....

You weren't there ..... and who said that SHE climbed over? He manhandled her, it is all on that tape he was recording. Tostee is a creepy fwit.

Does that mean FORCING an inebriated person onto a balcony 14 flights from the ground?

.... and forcibly holding her down is what then? Fun?

Physical force? Throwing decorative "rocks" is NOT physical force. Holding her down is.

Perhaps W thought she was Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) and could shimmy across to the next apartment balcony to ask for help?

Thank you. I thought I was a lone Jurer here on Websleuths. It is no fun, at all, and I hope that the Jury can decide soonish ... Websleuth members would have their heads spinning because ALL that you can talk/discuss is what has been presented in Court.

I agree with this. The Jury can ONLY decide on the evidence provided in Court. Why the person (supposedly) as Foreman asked for Tostee's age and so forth? Who knows. It IS against the rules. I have been on a Jury and it was an awful experience.

Has anybody here ever done Jury Duty? I think it might be a little different to what you imagine.

Many thanks, Liadan & WWGY. I thought all High Schools/secondary education in Australia started at Year 7 when the child was turning 12 that year. However, I had a look and only South Australia now starts High School at Year 8. Queensland has now come in line with the rest of Australia...
