Absolutely agree. The whole problem stemmed from justice Hoggs judgement . Without this none of this would ha e happened. She pandered to ben butler and indeed her words were " I am so happy to see an outcome where a family is back together " She seemed to be caught up on the whole publicity...

Judges have a power to take away all the time a person has served towards their sentence if they make a hopeless application to appeal. It is a shame they didn't invoke this rule on this occasion meaning jg would have to start her sentence all over again!

If you lodge an appeal that is refused or without merit the judge can state that all the time you have served up until your appeal does not count towards your sentence but they don't often do that in

I am not sure she can bespeaking the conviction for perverting the course of justice as she pleaded guilty to this so was not found guilty . He can appeal the child cruelty but that did not really add any more to her sentence as the main part of her sentenc was for the perverting. I wonder if...

I have to say I have very much thought about it! It was a very disturbing case for me and I still look at the pictures occasionally of Ellie when she had maybe just gone to the parents and so still looked so happy and cared for due to her grandparents. My thoughts are still with her family...

JG does have a sister who hAs disowned her according to grandfather so don't think she has helped and social services don't cover this so not sure who is helping her !. No he or she won't have to sign on the Sex offenders resister as their convictions don't relate to this. Let's hope she...

Well we may all say this but if you look at his and her evidence and indeed the comments they made to the school etc , they both knew how a child should be brought up and what they should say to satisfy people they were being brought up the right way but chose not to do that . This makes the...

He seems to be in contact frequently with daily mail he could be contacted that way or via the officer in the case that he mentions in an interview and states was very supportive. You could also contact the family liaison police team at Sutton and ask to speak his family liaison officer to see...

Add to this the cost of keeping JG segregated with wardens with her the whole time which is still happening. In my view she should be left to get on with it and fend for herself without protection as her poor children had to! Having read further detail from grandad you do just wonder as she was...

Regarding his appeal. It won't have been heard yet. Usually it takes a while if you are serving a lengthy sentence however due to the public interest in this they may expedite it. Can't see why he is appealing sentence as it is the right sentence if his conviction is upheld. It is his appeal...

I sincerely hope that the press don't publish anything that will help BB appeal. The fact that BB has done it within time would imply that it was his current legal team that submitted it. Hopefully it is an appeal without merit and simply done at his request. JG could only appeal really...

To appeal they have to get counsel to draft grounds of appeal and although I wasn't present I can't see what grounds they would have. They can apply out of time is after the 28 days if they get new barristers who would then have to look through all the papers. The only grounds will be that the...

This would not be a ground for appeal in all probability. The prosecution are entitled now to make an application for the defendants bad character to be adduced. There is a test that needs to be applied to admit this and the convictions need to be relevant. That would be why the assaults went...

Regarding the yt video. It was clearly JG as evidencing by BB calling out when convicted ABE videos are subject to strict undertakings from all parties who view them. Defence solicitors sign an undertaking to keep the disc and not to disclose it to anyone or allow it to be copied and have to...

I will look again on the thread but a reported link I read said he was shouting about an appeal and that the jury should watch you tube etc. The newspaper report said what you tube showed and that the jury had not see this and it had been illegally put up or wthef. I will find it u less anyone...
