What I find strange about the Police releasing the video so late is that when Jill Meagher went missing they released the cctv footage of her and Adrian Bayley almost as soon as they got it and subsequently Bayley was arrested in 6 days. I wonder if the VicPol learnt something from the CSK case...

Ahh Marylouise, I forgot to add that about the colour!! I was thinking the exact same thing earlier but got side-tracked with other thoughts haha. I was thinking it may have been black or navy blue. PD I can agree with you about the second job too unless it was a set roster for when you're on...

Imagine if MM is in fact not the accused and comes forward after the trial.. :ohwow: I don't understand why he must have been in catering.. could have come from a formal 21st, engagement party or wedding and taken his tie off or could be just MM style back then. As someone that has worked in...

Thanks to all that replied to my comments about ancestry DNA - I did giggle at the one about having a family member annoying everyone with the family tree ha. In response to CyberRH, in a world where identities are easily stolen I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard to use a bogus address (or...

What ID methods are used for ancestry.com DNA tests? Would it be possible to do a test under a name other than your own? I could see how these matchups could quite easily be thrown out of court, then again I suppose they would do a re-test to make sure the said DNA match matches the actual...

hey mate, I have a wagon with a rubber boot liner, gotta keep the mutts off the carpet when they've been swimming in puddles and what not lol. Also, thanks spooks for posting about the DNA I was always under the impression the media had suggested familial DNA but it was never officially...

Thought I'd post a screenshot so others can see and don't have to go searching. Hopefully, there is a bit of court progress tomorrow, the families deserve answers. From http://ecourts.justice.wa.gov.au/eCourtsPortal/CourtListings/SearchForCourtListings

Just to clear up the effects of stimulants (Dexamphetamine, Duromine etc), as someone who is on Dexamphetamine for ADD/ADHD (no, you do not grow out of it), it does not enhance my abilities. It mellows me, makes my brain stop jumping from thought to thought before even finishing a thought. I do...

Anyone know court jargon? What and why would the court appearance be "vacated"? Or is it just another word for adjournment (although I thought they would have just done that on Wednesday). Is it just me or is this really odd?

Spooks, The BTK Killer (Dennis Rader) was in contact with police before being arrested, he was arrested because he sent a floppy disk to them as they had lied to him about it being able to be traced back to him.

Not sure if any of you are interested in this but it's pretty interesting. It does have stats from 1980 - 2014 and includes some state by state stats too. http://www.aic.gov.au/media_library/publications/sr/sr002.pdf
