But the defense could have called her too and done just that. I know the possibility is that if she was called she could have testified against ZA also...after all the defense couldn't hand out immunity and she might not have been inclined to help. I think the defense probably had a hard time...
Yeah. The panties make no sense. I know some said they were introduced because that is what caught the eye of the guy who found them. But why not the bucket then? The bucket is what caught the hunter's eye.
That seems like something the state would bring in if it had any DNA or...
This is what I mean about our system. He should not have been on the streets. Sometimes (all of the time) I wonder why they even bother with saying X years and then reduce it to community service. Why have that much leeway?
Thanks. Just thought maybe if ZA gave up right to appeal in exchange for testimony there might be a chance he would tell his story in the other trials (if they have them). Plus if the appeals got dropped the Bobos wouldn't have to live through all of the appeal hearings for ZA.
What...
Don't know the laws but are there post-conviction deals that are done? I.e. ZA testifies against JA & DA and they reduce sentence to LWOP? Or even prison choice?
Gotta say that if our judicial system was working properly ZA should have been in prison long ago but they kept letting him go. If he had sentences that kept him in prison Holly would still be alive. That infuriates me (I live in California and it is even worse here)
Look at Britt...
I didn't watch trial but only followed comments so I'm sure I might have missed this...how does Corey know ZA called him if he didn't answer?
I'm guessing caller ID was the prison pay phone number? If so that doesn't necessarily mean it was ZA right? Or is there something more identifying...
I explained in another post that I worded it all wrong. ZA THOUGHT she had died earlier...shooting her after realizing she was alive is definitely not accidental.
(Edits because I still can't type anything coherent on my phone )
I had gone back to edit my post because I wasn't clear but I think you got my quote pre edit (and maybe my edit wasn't clear either now that I look at it).
ZA thought she had died unexpectedly is what I meant. Then he had to dispose of the body (which was not just a body but a living...
Definitely need logical thinking like this for any case. It seems though that just one person could try to pick apart even some of your issues and leave them with doubt. Scary.
I think Holly died unexpectedly (or ZA thought she had). I've thought perhaps an asthma attack or, if they gave...
I saw that comment on Conte's twitter feed. Since it wasn't in context was it in response to the standard requests made by the defense?
If not I think someone needs to explain to the judge how the judicial system works
Can someone refresh my memory please? Was it JA who testified that SA said to ZA "you didn't have to kill her" ??
If whoever kidnapped Holly (SA?) wasn't planning on killing his victim did he really think she wouldn't go to the police and he would ultimately be identified?
I could...
