I’m glad LE are looking through the case again as well. I believe it was Sgt Holeman that described the early days of the investigation as ‘chaos’ in an interview. Maybe THE lead slipped through the first time that won’t this time around.

Thanks GJR. I left there so mad that BG had a significant head start on LE as far as getting away from Delphi and distancing himself from the crime. A few days later, when Libby’s evidence was shown to the public, I thought the tables had turned. But here we all are. My first thoughts were...

I’d never participated in a search like that prior, but it seemed like LE was doing everything logical. They had maps for everyone of the trail system, and groups were sent out with a fireman for direction. The larger area was divided up on a big map at search headquarters and locations were...

The creek wasn’t high at that time, but the water had to be very cold, likely just above freezing. I have a hard time thinking it was part of BG’s plan to cross the creek for seclusion. IMO I think he lost control of them and the girls ran across the creek to escape towards the trail/ more...

I’m glad I helped, but it was a traumatic experience that I think about often, especially with this guy still on the loose. We were required to check out to ensure no one was lost while searching. I saw a lot of sadness when I went back to check out. I’ve loathed BG since and look for him daily...

I agree that he is likely an unlucky at life type. Everyday I kind of expect for an arrest. Why? I guess because I expect his luck to run out. I’m not from Delphi, but I helped search on 2/14. I’ve checked the news everyday since hoping to see he’s screwed. IMO

I can’t get myself to think that a serial killer committed this crime. The sticking point for me is witnesses. Before the crime, BG had to know he was observed in the area by at least one person, maybe even multiple people. I don’t think this killer is highly intelligent. Just lucky... so far...

I’d also like to see LE release a new, colorized sketch. IMO I think a colorized sketch could help identify the suspect.

A valid point. I’ve never been on the MHB, but if I ever were, I certainly wouldn’t walk it with my hands in my pockets! He wasn’t afraid he’d need to catch himself I surmise. MOO

This is how l think the BG possibly came across the victims here as well. He could’ve been there before that day surely, or he could’ve walked the trail the first time that day. If he had walked the trail only once, he would’ve known it wasn’t a loop trail where people could be anywhere along...

If LE has a sentence or two it would reveal a lot about location. Word choice, vowel emphasis, etc. As a side note, I don’t have a link but I recall an article involving IP where Delphi police used voice analysis as evidence. MOO

The public doesn’t know how much the BG spoke outside of “down the hill.” I’m hopeful LE has more of his language to use for regional dialect analysis. If so, they at least have an idea where the BG grew up and developed his linguistics. MOO

I’m not convinced DN is the BG, however I was thinking back to when he was apprehended in CO. “We’re not those kind of people.” That was his quote in response to police inquiry about hatchet threats. After pleading guilty to these accusations, I think that does show he is indeed that “kind of...

Question for anyone, as a newbie here, I don’t know much about unsolved cases like this one. How often is an official LE profile of the suspect released? Also, has that proven beneficial in many cases? TIA

When the sketch was released in July 2017, LE verified that there were witnesses, or, at minimum, a witness. I believe link is in media thread. If the BG was observed before the crimes, he would’ve been fully aware that he could be placed in the area by a witness. This seems like a bad idea for...

Yes I believe there is a wing at this hospital for mentally ill sexually violent predators as well. I’ve also heard that some of these patients just kind of stick around Logansport once released. Who knows if anyone was released from there early 2017. I do not have that information. Purely...

I think that is likely. The coat looks well oversized for the BG to me.... the overly bunched up sleeves appear too long for him. Possibly not his coat? Most people likely don’t wear a coat large enough to fit their person and a duffel bag inside. Could the BG also have stashed the bag along...

There’s a state mental hospital in Logansport as well. ‘Do not pick up hitchhiker’ signs are along the road near this hospital. MOO
