    GA GA - Shirley, 87, & Russell Dermond, 88, Putnam County, 2 May 2014 - # 1

This is no small damn. The dam between the two lakes has a flood gate. Unless you drag a canoe 500 feet down an embankment over boulders, it's an unlikely route.

VS was found at her dock on Lake Sinclair. Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair are separated by a dam and the two are not passable by water.

I have been a longtime observer and haven't posted in quite awhile but this case hits home. I have family that live in this area and would like to add my personal observations/perspectives. Reynolds Plantation is a prestigious, high dollar community with around 80% of its residents at or above...

    GUILTY GA - Lauren Giddings, 27, Macon, 26 June 2011 #11

There are several bodies of water in and near Macon. But it comes down to time and opportunity. Lake Tobesofkee isn't very far away but I am still really interested to know if MD would have even had the chance to drive south to grandpa's or if the Ocmulgee wouldn't have made more sense.

This is why it bothers me to the core that NO other body parts have been found. Quick and painless- how in the world would they come to that conclusion???

A little OT here but I find it strange that the boyfriend has never been named or offered any type of statement or opinion. I have read conflicting reports that the email was sent to him and in other cases to a friend. I can't think of anyone who would know more about a persons fears of security...

I totally agree. I can think of 4 major colleges within 60 miles of Macon that will be starting back in the next few weeks. Until something solid comes out of the forensics, Chief Burns does not want to create panic or further speculation.

Good grief! Even a mildly perceptive person would have know EXACTLY when she was coming and going! It's just so sad.

Just a thought on the master key- do we know exactly how many of those apartments are currently vacant? If only 3 have been searched, would their not be a possibility that McD knew which ones were empty and more readily accessible? Or perhaps offered more privacy to lure someone in to commit a...

Wow.. thanks for your willingness to go the extra step to get photos. I was looking at the aerial of the complex, I'm curious if you could tell what type of building is just to the left of the apartments. Is it possible that this is a vacant building (temporary access or storage)? Part of the...

I live in the Atlanta area could not believe this story has not had more widespread attention. Great posts by you all. I thought I would do a little more research on the surroundings and came across the site for Barrister Hall. http://www.barristershall.com/ There are several interior views of...

Oh this is just the beginning. I can't wait to see what expressions she has in store for us once this really gets underway.

Mr and Mrs. George Anthony / How do they cope with living in the same home ?

IMHO, people who are wrought with guilt, sadness, desperation do not take vacations, do not seek the spotlight and certainly don't tattoo their body with memorials. The Anthony's may forever live in denial, far from reality of what "was" Caylee's beautiful life.

*REVISIT* Could We Have Gotten a Confession from Casey?

Ding! Ding! Ding! You hit the nail on the head. Is it my imagination has CA had it "easy" compared to some of the questioning of other suspects in the same situation? Maybe there are interviews we missed publicly but it seems as if she was never at any point given the tough questions or really...

2009.04.13 Unreleased Evidence: What Are You Waiting to See?

I would like to see contents and testing from the various vacuum cleaners taken from the home, Mallory's interview and most importantly ANY concrete evidence pointing away from Casey, which quite frankly I don't believe exists.

2010.02.16 Document Release: Stain on Trunk Liner

I totally agree with this statement. It's interesting that the stain seems to have a "salty" white ring or residue. Most laundry detergents and household cleaners contain high percentage of salt. If only the lab results accompanied these photos! :banghead:
