GUILTY TX - Melissa Sowders, 26, Harris County, 26 December 2013

They had two helicopters today hovering over the search area(I live in the area). There is something to make them believe she is down there to put all those resources in the search.

Is ICA going to get out in time for her civil deposition with Morgan and Morgan?

What do you want to personally say to the jurors?

Juror 2, really? You thought she was guilty and you were the last holdout. In the end, no one could determine who was the caregiver that day, so not guilty. NEWSFLASH!! Casey Anthony was, under the law, her parent. She alone was responsible for her child's welfare. Instead of patting...

    2011.07.06 Sidebar Thread (Post-Verdict)

Could HJP sentence include restitution to the state? I know that in the balloon boy case, the father was ordered to pay for the cost of the search. Shouldn't ICA be ordered to do the same?

Tim Miller: Possible Lawsuit against Casey

Didn't the balloon boy's father have to repay the authorities for their false search. Wasn't it part of his sentence? I truly believe he has a good case, as well as every single one of his searchers. Think about it, a jury in Orlando on a civil case against ICA, wanting at least some...

List - What didn't the jury hear?

George's very candid FBI taped interview where he is clearly struggling She was jealous of Caylee, they didn't hear about that much Tony not wanting kids or only a boy. Tony didn't think his apartment was a good environment for Caylee. The fight The stealing They did hear...

Media Interviews with Case Players (SA/DT) ***Merged**

Before we heard his interview, my husband said he suspected someone strong armed them, one of the jurors influenced the rest. I suspect this one. They absolutely discussed this before yesterday.

What is your definition of reasonable?

2011.06.25 Sidebar Thread (Trial Day Twenty-eight)

LKB said something last night about the defense filing a motion this morning that had something to do with witness intimidation by the DOD in regard to Dr. Rodriguez's testimony. I suspect this may be the issue today.

    Questions For Baez

Why no plea? Your ego, or Casey's idea?

2011.07.04 Verdict Watch 12:15 pm How long will the jury deliberate?

    I voted 1/2 day because I didn't see 5 minutes.

Has the defense created reasonable doubt?

The state has convinced me beyond a reasonable doubt. 31 days (or never if it was up to Casey) bagged and dumped dead body in trunk Blockbuster tape Casey making plans for future without restrictions These five things alone do it for me. I don't even need the scientific evidence...

Does anyone know what happened to Dr. Bill Rodriguez?

2011.06.21 TRIAL Day Twenty-four (Afternoon Session)

Seriously, wouldn't an attorney have a list of questions in advance that would guide them, instead of asking all of these leading questions?

    Will Casey Testify?

"ICA, is it a huge, huge waste of time for me to ask you a question, based upon the fact that you lie, lie, lie?

CM:We don't have any obligation to put on a defense -JP:"Y'all lied to me

IMHO, there is absolutely no way that JB will not put on a defense. He seems to enjoy the grandstanding. Cheney just wanted to get this instruction in one more time. Remember, he also has his own ideas for the jury instructions at the end of the trial.

Legal Questions for our VERIFIED Lawyers #3

I have been wondering, obviously the defense wants to put RC on the stand to try and prove an affair, etc. Can the SA object due to relavance. RC has absolutely nothing to due with the case, and anything she was told seems to be heresay. Can the DT get her testimony in somehow??

2011.06.13 TRIAL Day Seventeen (Morning Session)

I'm confused, wasn't it the defense that wanted to bring in this study in the first place? I seem to remember arguments during jury selection, with the DT saying this study was very important, and the state saying the experiment wasn't even complete
  19. S

    Will Casey Testify?

She won't testify. If you hear the opening arguments, Jose states that when she is 13, she "COULD" put the object in her mouth and then go to school. IMHO, the word could means they have no intention on putting her on the stand. It is not going to happen.
