In regards to Millard asking about whether any of the professional photographers would use a cell phone to take a photo...I think he is trying to discredit the most incriminating photos that he himself has taken with his cell phone. ( the tarp photo etc)

I have been following along but have not posted as yet. I just wanted to say a few words about DM's behaviour. There is an unwritten code of conduct for the accused in a court room. The accused are on trial and as such are being watched carefully by the jurors. Their non verbal behaviour speaks...
Have been following along but have not commented on this thread as yet. I read somewhere that the picture was not taken at the DMV on 19/09/2014 but rather released on that date to the police. I have worked at a dmv and if you are replacing your drivers license you do not have your picture taken...
I understood from the newspaper report that the stolen trailer was almost immediately registered in someone else's name as a homemade trailer. We don't know whose name but it will be evidence for a charge. I am sure we will see more charges coming.

It is my understanding that if they find him guilty of kidnapping and/or sexual assault and either or both lead to her death than he is also guilty of first degree murder.
If we look at TLM, when she was charged she said MTR wielded the hammer but she was still charged with first degree murder!!
The crowns case was based on actual evidence backing up TLM's testimony so I am hopeful that the jury will not/ can not disregard all the evidence. Derstine has not presented any real evidence to support his statement. They are just statements!! Who will the jury believe ..we will soon see!!
I have to think that some of the evidence is what MR didn't do. Most people that found themselves in a situation that saw them witness such a horrific crime (as MR is implying he did) would have tried to stop it, try to call 911, try to get help or just leave the scene!! He did none of these...
I have been following along but have not posted in this forum. Here are my two cents worth!!
I have concluded that Tori would still be alive if MR was not involved.
In my opinion the crime would not have been committed without his car, without the drugs, without him paying for the hammer...
I am sure that everyone can agree the marriage was disfunctional. Prior to 2008, Brad was pretty much not there much. Between getting his MBA, training for his events and working he had no time for his family but he did have time for a few affairs!! I would think Nancy started to feel trapped...
I just read an article on WRAL based on an interview that the Foreman gave...he said he was unaware of the note saying; "We want our lives back" until Friday. So it was only a few of them I guess.

I can't believe he confessed...but so glad he did!!
This trial was the first that I really involved myself with. I have read others but didn't post. It is really a time consuming habit!! My attic is a mess, the yard is begging for attention and I was avoiding phone calls!! I went for a long...
Oh...i will have to go and read about Vincent Tabak I had been somewhat following the case as I was in England when it all happened and it was in all over the news. Glad you mentioned it here!!
