I am only on page 4, trying to catch up. Sorry if this has been asked, already. How do these American deaths stack up against all deaths there? There seem to be a lot of Americans dying. Or are we only hearing about Americans? Or are they being targeted?

I just saw him on TV about a week ago (maybe less) on the Today show...his beard, or facial hair, or whatever it is called was so strange looking....like a hairy ring around his whole mouth. I looked at him and wondered if he were going through some type of crisis, or had gone off the deep end.

I've thought the same thing. And then, just as quickly, I think that no one knows how they'll respond in situations like this. Some people "close up", and act in a way that might be seen by others as cold or calm. It's a defense mechanism.
