What is the RL that the mod on the previous thread said our illustirious leaders are busy with? Is this something I should know?

And just think how much good it may have done for another child who desperately needs one and might could have used it. That makes me angry, too, that they would just throw it away. :furious:

I, too, have been through the Citizen Police Academy down here in southeast Texas. The poster who was singing its praises was spot-on! They used different colored lights to show up different things. Some things that are visible in red light (or with red glasses) will not show up at all with...

I thought JH WOULDN'T give DNA, so his dad did. Did I misunderstand something?

All I can think of is Richard Jewell. Remember him from the Olympics in Atlanta, when the woman was killed in the park? Do you all really think JH is the one who killed Somer, or do you think he's just convenient? It's been so hard since CCSO has been so close-mouthed. Wonder if he knew her or...

You know, I keep putting myself in DT's shoes, and thinking OMG, how would I deal with this media spotlight on me? And you know what? I honestly believe I'd rather have the questions and the suspicions ('people staring back at me' as she said the other day in the interview) because I know...

The judge should have said, "What?! They sell drugs, TOO?" LOL, but not really.

Thanks to all giving links and TV reports-but in my mind, I'm just seeing this being downplayed. *Sigh* I guess it's old news...unless you care. I'm glad we do.

You know, I've looked online at Fox, MSNBC and CNN-no one seems to have this story up. Or maybe I'm just a really bad sleuther. Has anyone seen anything on the "major" mainstream media?

Go for it! Too bad, but we can't wait for 'them' to say things. Unfortunately, that's why there's a need for WebSleuths. Fortunately, we are here.

I'm laughing, but only because I keep thinking it's really too bad Joel Brodsky didn't get there before Freed did. Broadway Brodsky would keep her talking and do some talking for her!

Just asked hubby, who (grumpily) asked why he would have any idea why they would withhold the info on COD, but suggested 1) To avoid copycats 2) To keep weirdos from 'confessing' Grumpy, but interesting... :eye:

I have to chime in, here. Been reading, catching up. The logic of withholding the COD escapes me completely, but maybe I'm missing something. LE says that to disclose COD would jeopardize the case. Now, being that the murderer KNOWS the COD, would it not make more sense to not say ANYTHING...

It occurs to me that when one has found a missing child, there are many emotions that come to the fore. BUT-I wonder how many times someone has ever called and said, "How long was he/she there?" Find 'em at a friend's house after several calls, find out they've been over at a neighbor's, but...

OH - Up for Parole Child Killer... *extremely disturbing*

Thank you, Steely Dan. We live in constant fear. She wanted his ring finger brought to her (to prove he was dead), and as a result of almost being severed, it doesn't open all the way. Ligaments just damaged too much. Other than that, we were so blessed. The only thing that saved him is that...

OH - Up for Parole Child Killer... *extremely disturbing*

I have experience with the parole board (in Texas.) Some of you have said you don't believe he will be paroled, and IMO, you are correct. Sentences have built-in parole hearings, and I truly believe this is what is happening. To make a very long and painful story short, my brother's wife...

Thank you, Chicken Pants-your explanation re:funeral homes is exactly what my experiences have been when losing loved ones. But as we've learned, here, and I'm sure Sadnpod will agree with me, is that the farther one gets removed from first-hand information, the farther afield one is. I have a...
