MISTRIAL Wesley Hadsell charged with murdering adopted stepdaughter, A.J. Hadsell #2

Prosecution is afraid of giving WH reason to appeal, is the only reason I can think that they gave in. What a sham. Suicide was a stupid defense, what the heck are they going to claim next trial, when presumably AJ's privacy will be respected.

Re: burner phone identification If **I** had the power of subpoena, here's how I'd go about linking. First, you look at computers suspects have access to, and routers. Gather each IP Address, MAC addresses, and IMEI numbers of all devices. Check computers for log in to gmail and other common...

Hi Kat, Even throw away phones have to be set up. If she used the same Google account, or if she connected her Google account to FB to reinstate her friends list...they might still be able to gather metadata from the phone carrier (or Google maps) tracking her movements. It's really difficult to...

Also, who owns the "silver camper," if such exists? Has it been brought in and forensics applied?

Long time... no visit. Popping out of the woodwork to ask if there has been anything said about the car being tested forensically? I'd love to know if they brought in cadaver dogs. Or possibly the car and the impromptu trip to NC is just a red herring to distract from the true direction they...

    Law Enforcement Searches/AJ's Remains Located

I disagree with that reading. It doesn't say at all when the ME made the determination, only that the determination of "homicidal violence" was made and publicly said that it was "acute heroin poisoning". It seems to be saying that publicly the heroin poisoning was released, but the homicidal...

Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell - COD: "Heroin Poisoning"

In addition, Kimball, who formerly represented WH, is the supervisor of that fed attorneys office, so he likely has more direct knowledge of the cases other lawyers in the office are handling.

Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell - COD: "Heroin Poisoning"

I think you're right. I think the timing with the anniversary is significant. We've all seen how much Wes likes to talk, even to his own detriment. The stress of the anniversary approaching quite likely weighed on him to the point he had to confess to someone he thought he could trust. If I...

Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell - COD: "Heroin Poisoning"

I think the timing of this lends credibility, too. With the anniversary occurring, it would have increased the stress on motormouth Wes, who has apparently reached the limit of his ability to keep it zipped. ETA: By lending credibility, I mean just in my own mind, not in a legal sense. ;)

The court documents are more clear. This new witness was already represented by the firm that also represents Wes, presumably for another charge that has him in the federal system. He has come forward with information that Wes' direct attorney has knowledge of. Because of that knowledge, he no...

What about the possibility of two individuals involved. One pulls the trigger and moves the car while the other follows to pick the first back up?

I look forward to any updates you can share. As a mom, I can't imagine the pain her mother and the rest of the family went through.

According to the times on http://www.athleticscholarships.net/trackandfieldscholarships.htm, it is outside the lower limit for division 1 in the 1600m (or mile run).

I found Kathy's thread through the new posts link a few days ago. I finished reading through both threads, and December, I want to say that I am so sorry for your family's loss and that you are such an admirable champion for justice for Kathy. She was gone before my life ever began and yet she...

Some interesting information about College Track Scholarships at this link: http://www.athleticscholarships.net/trackandfieldscholarships.htm And the link also has a table of times and stats that would be necessary for each level of competition. I haven't looked up DE's stats to compare...

Does anyone know if NK also participated in Track? My oldest met quite a few friends from other schools through Track meets throughout his high school career. There is a lot of down time in track that allows you to hang out and get to know other students.

A quick thought about lack of bond. These two are from Maryland, and Virginia probably does not want them leaving the state.

I am scrolling through very quickly, so I didn't stop to grab the quotes, but I read a quote that he was 0.5 mile from the family home, and that he was 1.5 miles from where he went missing. Giving two different measuring points may be the source of the confusion.
