    GUILTY MO - Elizabeth Olten, 9, St Martin's, 21 Oct 2009 #15

This case tears me up beyond words. It's what first brought me to WS, trying to find some understanding (which never came). My daughter was a schoolmate/acquainance of Alyssa. She too was a cutter, suffered PTSD and was deeply depressed. I am so proud that my daughter grew up to be a smart...

    GUILTY MO - Elizabeth Olten, 9, St Martin's, 21 Oct 2009 #15

@vjlaw here's a link: http://www.connectmidmissouri.com/news/story.aspx?id=716157 Quote: The closing arguments were emotional for both families involved. Bustamante's grandmother ran out of the courtroom crying. Elizabeth's grandmother yelled out from a wheelchair, "Alyssa should get out of...

Cell Phone Activity Discussion Thread #2

Sorry to ask again if this has been addressed (this cell phone info is all over the place)... Anyway, do we know if the phone chargers were supposedly taken or not? TIA

Thanks again yllek for the timeline. It really helped to see all the info in one place!

What one question would you ask in the case of Lisa Irwin?

I had my friend who knows about guns look at these and he said that the one by the bat is a pump-action shot gun (no question). Most likely a Remington 870. The one in the corner has a carriage that looks like a shot-gun, but can't tell for sure because he can't see the ejection port.

We do know that JI was at his regular job on Monday though, right?

Thanks for the rundown yllek. What does "they have a code" mean?

What one question would you ask in the case of Lisa Irwin?

Weird, that looks like a camera doesn't it?

Emergency custody papers filed by mother of JI's son 11/14/11

You're right cityslick, it just doesn't add up... There has to be more to this story.

What one question would you ask in the case of Lisa Irwin?

Are DB and JI swingers, as well as their neighbors?

Police say parents are not answering vital questions #2

Slightly O/T: Someone splain this one... when I try to look up DBs online case files I get "access denied". I can look up other people, including JI, but not her... a big HMMM

CONVICTION OVERTURNED MO - Kent Heitholt, 48, found murdered, Columbia, 1 Nov 2001

The bloody footprints from the scene. ETA: Sorry if that was a rhetorical question. :)

Thanks for the input Karmaa. To clarify myself, "all they want" kind of meant away from JI. Of course she would have an attorney present and would not have to answer their questions. As for the child endangerment, or possibly neglect (?), I am unsure of the exact laws. It just seems to me...

I don't understand why DB can't be arrested for child endangerment. I.E. being admittedly blacked out drunk when something happens to a child. This is a recent local story of something similar and this lady has been charged... "A 15 month old little boy drowned Monday in St. Charles, and now...

Cell Phone Activity Discussion Thread #2

Thank you jjk. I'm trying to wrap my head around a few things. What I'm wondering, iirc, DB said at some point that she got on the computer? Could she have seen the ad on CL and called, not thinking about the time? That type of phone call could last about 50 secs ("No, MW isn't here right...

That works with my theory that drugs and/or sex (between adults) were involved too...
