I just listened to an interview with Dog the B. Hunter. He said, on Friday, he is the one who received the lead about the prisoners in the cabin and law enforcement moved on it Saturday.
If you want to listen, scroll down to the second video about 3mins in...
Last weeks map (below), the plane 'flew around Indonesian airspace after it dropped off Malaysian military radar.' Link
However, Elle Elle's map (above) from a couple of days ago, shows the plane flying directly over Indonesia... did the flight path change? In other words, instead of the plane...
Duncan Steel has calculated ping placement according to five possible speeds. I attached the graphics that correlate with the southern route only.
Then sardakco (in comments) created an overlay using AU's newest map that plots the underwater signals and search area...
*snipped for brevity
I know, it does seem sort of fantastical when you put it that way. Not to mention, the signals being 300 miles apart with both locations being right smack on top of the projected arc.
And then again, it's hard to imagine an enormous plane slipping into an ocean undetected...

You're right. It seems the plane was outside almost all radar reach. I'm not sure what to think because the CTBTO’s IMS stations use hi-tech radar of sort and other sophisticated technology that could have detected its activity. They have infrasound stations completely surrounding the...
I read through his site last night, interesting comments on his About Me page. Apparently, a comment he made yesterday on theguardian.com was removed. The article shows (ProfAlloy) comment 'removed,' further down (Solusnauta) asks why it was removed. I know England has different laws regarding...
This article says the new radar analysis might contradict the Inmarsat data. Is this information credible, has CNN said anything about this? tia
New 'credible lead' shifts MH370 search area
Abbott has been briefed on new radar data analysis which has prompted authorities to shift the...
So, currently, there are 12 ships in the area? Do you know if any more are going?
The current debris photos have no reference point. Ideally, they need satellite images that include debris and ships. Once they have a group of ships scattered around (for reference), they'll be able to close in...
Disregard first map
here is another one:
"This map depicts several International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) flight information regions (FIRs). Air traffic controllers lost contact with Malaysia Airline Flight 370 near the region where Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore FIRs...
(SBIRS) the U.S. Space Based Infrared satellite system, which is designed to identify heat signatures in real time... article relating to mh370 here: nbcnews
Also relating to mh370 we have the UN's Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) - the International Monitoring...
Reading Wise's blog, I see the pings are on fewer circles which suggests the pings could have potentially overlapped.
I don't believe the plane landed either. I was trying to figure out why (Najib?) said early on the plane may have landed before taking off again - in light of new...
Going back to my post yesterday here, (see attached graphic) I wrote "looking closer at 2:11 and 3:11, southern path passes right over Indonesia and the northern path over Myanmar (Burma), Bangaladesh, India may need to be shifted right a little but I can see how the pings could still fit."...
He doesn't actually mark the 3:11 ping but you can imagine where if falls using the 2:11 or 4:11 ping marks.
The map is just good reference for sorting out the pings and understanding why they are searching both northern and southern areas.
I also see why the "terrain masking" is a...
Yes, hourly pings plotted in the graphic are from a journalist's standpoint. His path leads to the two areas being searched in the north and south.
From what I can tell, if you look closer at 2:11 and 3:11, southern path passes right over Indonesia.
the northern path over Myanmar...
