The detective determining that he wiped sweat off of his forehead and then wiped it on his pants is ludicrous. So he feels comfortable saying that, but does not feel comfortable guessing about there being mud on the shoes, or him leaving any dirt on the floor.
I completely agree with your logic here. Nothing, so far, has been in any way even slightly compelling in terms of showing that BC was involved in NC's murder.
I'm guessing that there has to be SOMETHING, at least one bit of evidence that is compelling, since the grand jury sent this to...
With what has been put forth so far, does anyone have any guesses as to what the actual EVIDENCE in this case might be?
-We know about the dress and the color issues (Wow, a man mistakes green for blue)!
-The marriage problems
-Phones and calls
-The tarp
-The shoes (his are possibly missing...
I totally agree. It's interesting how he didn't have to look down to remember anything when the prosecution asked him questions, but now it's like he has no recollection of anything that happened between July 12-14th. He sure looks to be impartial.
I know what the prosecution is trying to do here: They are showing that the police work was meticulous, that is why they are seemingly having the poor detective (and all who watch) go through ever single piece of evidence collected, the majority of which appear to have nothing to do with the...
In terms of Darin being involved. What I've always wondered is how Darin slept through Darlie staging the crime scene.
Darin claims that he woke up to Darlie screaming at the top of her lungs.
So, that means that Darin slept through Darlie killing the kids (which is possible, assuming...
Beyond all the circumstantial evidence that everyone has talked about, if you read the trial transcripts (particularly the part where she was on the stand under cross-examination), it becomes even MORE obvious she did it:
1) On the stand, she told a detective several times "If I did it, I...
I think that Darin never even bothered to ask Darlie if she did or didn't kill the kids. I think he doesn't want to know what happened, and just went along with the "intruder" claim from the start. I think deep down he knows she did it, but he has found a way to justify it in his own mind. I...
Where are you getting that he didn't clean anything while she was on vacation? He testified during the deposition that he DID clean up a few days before she came home, but he did not clean up the playroom or dust. She was upset about that, but he did say that he cleaned and even bragged to...
Wow, I was just reading this thread and for six whole pages the discussion is about the color of the dress. What is telling is how little evidence (none really) that the prosecution has presented that something like dress color would be the highlight thus far.
I've been watching it all like...
