    LA LA - Shane Fell, 36, Marrero, 9 June 2011 - #2

I rode down the road a few weeks ago for the first time. It was a very strange feeling. I didn't realize what road we were on until I saw the sign. I also didn't realize that there is a neighborhood in walking distance from where he went missing.

Found Deceased LA - Mark Bakotic, 21, New Orleans, 30 Dec 2016

I haven't seen anything on the news since his father made the announcement on Facebook. I would have thought that they would have had some sort of article or story about the update. Praying for answers for this family.

My mind keeps going back to a post about warrants for a place that handles excavators. Am I remembering this correctly? I don't know how to navigate these forums very well to look back. IMO it is possible that LE told BSL that the excavator had GPS and it was only a matter of time before they...

A little off topic, but I am glad to see progress in the case mentioned in this link. I think if this monster was deemed compitent to stand trial, BSL doesn't stand a chance at using a mental illness defense. If that is what he plans...

I was actually trying to quote the person you quoted and messed up. LOL But you are correct that stretch along I-10 to Mississippi is pretty deserted! I pray they find Mickey soon. There are so many areas to search. :(

Does anyone know if there is a grid or map of areas that have been searched and cleared? I think a visual aid of where has and hasn't been searched would be useful.

Just to clarify, Hwy 24 and exit 24 are two completely different places. Hwy 24 exit is 210 or something like that. It has State Troop C, a high school, McDonalds, Best Western, etc... all around. I don't think it is likely spot, though I could be wrong. I believe the Wood Group is building a...

I said the same thing to my mother last night. I wouldn't have crossed the street to avoid him, unfortunately. Makes me re-evaluate my thoughts. You always picture the "bad guy" looking like a certain way. I also thought he looked familiar. I am not from the area and when I would have been in my...

Forgive me if this has already been covered. Does anyone know if gj goes a certain time like 8-5 and reconvenes the next day or once they start a hearing, they go all of the way through?

Maybe golf clubs or hunting rifles. What ever they are, they don't look to be heavy.

Correct. And to further your discussion on the 90/24 intersection, the very next exit is Hwy 311. There are alot of Large companies building facilities at that exit. Wood group is either building a new facility there or doing construction on someones new facility I'm pretty sure.

Right at that exit ramp, is Louisiana State Troop C. I guess it is possible, but would be a really bold move to do so right by the State Troopers. I travel that area often. I would post a link to a map, but my computer is being weird and putting giant red x's all over the map.

Most of what I see is a combination of above ground, and under ground, but the "underground" ones are all covered with a raised cement tomb covering it. I know not too far from here, they actually have true inground cemeteries. Just not sure if they are as close as Lafayette.

That is a good thought, but aren't graves above ground over there? I know in Terrebonne Parish and most of South, LA they are above ground. It might make the search a little more difficult there. Not saying that your theory is wrong, just saying it may complicate that type of search. :)

After the thread went down temporarily, I have had trouble accessing it. I hope that others are also having trouble and not giving up hope. Or maybe people are traveling for the weekend.

Be patient with me guys..I have a truck question here. In the picture of the truck going in the opposite direction of Mickey, there appears to be something hanging from the back of the truck. I'm not sure if a) this truck has been ruled out and b) if this has been discussed before so feel free...

I have seen a few posters in gas stations, and I think I remember seeing a digital billboard, but no where near as much as we should have around this area. I have seen the fb posts shared alot among friends.

South East of Baton Rouge. The name of the city is Houma. Most people know Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette. We are kind of in the middle of all three. Actually if you look at the map, you might think we were in the Gulf :)
