IMO, he would have had to bury her for them to find anything. We have a hunting lease just a few miles down the road and the guys dump the remains of the skinned deer at night. By the next morning there is nothing left because of all the coyotes in the area.
I'm not sure, but I think that there can be varying degrees of parole-like situations. Not really a parole but transferred to correctional centers with programs that are focused on making a transition into the community. The parole board can make all kinds of recommendations.
I'm sure some of you who follow these cases often know this already but my mind is blown right this minute.
Louisiana 1st offense felony prisoners are eligible for parole after 1/3 of their sentence. That would be sometime in 2003 for BLS...
I wish the husband of BSL 1999 victim would come back here so we could ask if they participated in any parole hearings. They could possibly give us some insight into the climate surrounding his incarceration. If they participated in a parole hearing they would have heard other people speak up...
That's what I was thinking. IMO I don't think he would have been allowed out of the prison 2005/6 at the earliest so I was just focusing on possible schools for that time.
There is one I. Jennings and one in Lake Charles. I didn't include it because it seemed extremely fabricated IMO. The dates that were listed for it was at the beginning of his incarceration IIRC
Here is all the addresses of the campuses that are either mentioned in one of his profiles or are near places of interest.

I just want to note that LTC has gone through some major restructuring over the last decade. I'm not sure if all of the program locations would...
Sorry this is off topic, but I'm not sure of the forum etiquette on here. Is it appropriate to use the "give thanks" option to "like" someone's post? I keep looking for the "like" button like I would use on Facebook and wonder if I can use the "thanks" button in that manner even if the post...

According to his "resume" on linkedin.com he attended LTC while he was incarcerated, so I don't think he actually attended classes on one of their campuses, rather LTC must have an in-house program for inmates that BSL participated in. Very common for prisons/cf's to offer...
I understand the caution, but it does have the same current employer, same career (mechanic) and the 2000-2006 as a employee of the State of Louisiana. It appears to be his profile. I just wonder how much of it is padded to look good and how much of it is possibly true.
That particular campus does not offer the program that his profile has listed.

My basic understanding of the work release prisons is that it does not happen at state poision but at parish prisons. I'm pretty sure someone posted that he was moved to a different prison (maybe, Avoylles). From my knowledge with someone who was in the work release program, I can say without...
I agree that the blackberries are generally in sunny spots and poision ivy can handle shade better, but around here they are both often found together on the edge of wooded areas because they are both trying to get as much sunlight as possible. At our hunting lease I've been tangled in a bunch...
Well, I'm a newbbie here and still trying to get used to the forum so I keep getting myself confused. I have laughed at myself a few times when I'm reading your posts and wondering if I fell asleep typing or something. Since I found this site I'm cutting into my sleeping hours reading...
