    Deceased/Not Found UK - April Jones, 5, Machynlleth, Wales, 1 Oct 2012 #7 *M. Bridger guilty*

Very well said. I bowed out a while ago because I knew he was guilty. Thankfully he will never be released. People need to educate themselves that paedophiles look like ordinary members of the public. Paedophilia is a secret act, not a public thing. Men and women do not go around shouting what...

Are you kidding me! There are hundreds of examples out there of men who kill their family and close friends in their 30's and 40's.

What has family, or half family got to do with harbouring murderous desires over a period of many years? Look at serial killers and killers in general. They didn't just wake up one day and kill. The desire was always there.

Perhaps he did so with permission, not knowing they were paedophiles, or people who would murder? Perhaps he had permission to take April, but got drunk and fell asleep. April wondered off?

If he handed April over to others (paedophiles) who killed her. Then he is probably responsible for her death.

Very true. They usually harbour the desire for years before acting upon it and they always leave a trail.

Absolutely agree. The outcome of the trial starting in January won't be a surprise to me, but it will be a big lesson to those who cannot comprehend the type of people who commit these acts. They used to say "beware of strangers" They should add "beware of family and acquaintances"

I hope the money will be given to the local police force. It would pay one officers wages.

You should make the list and hand it in. Society cannot change if it doesn't know what is wrong with it.

I would have thought the majority of abuse claims which involved children would be historical. Most children are too petrified to tell anyone what is happening to them and most only find the courage in later years.

A child has been murdered, I know, I'll give a pair of shoes! I'm not doubting the money was well received, but like I said, just call me sensitive.

Call me harsh, but good deeds are usually done in silence. Shoes! Surely a dress, or small piece of jewellery would have been more appropriate. Perhaps I'm sensitive.

Wow, with all her millions why didn't she just write out a cheque!

I find it quite disgraceful that people have been ignored for years while the powers that be quite obviously considered this behaviour normal by continually sweeping it under the carpet. It certainly makes me wonder what the people in charge may have to hide about themselves.

Its all gone very quiet now. I hope they don't think they can make it all go away.

The government has never cared about the abuse of children in care homes. It took me 25yrs to speak out and the police and social services did nothing. I even have physical scars to prove what they did. I've just watched this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PyQPRdGM0c
