Wow. My hometown and I've never heard of this case. We are right in the border of LA, so he could have come from there...maybe to work in the refineries. Or to attend the local college, Lamar University. They have an excellent engineering and deaf Ed program. Skeptical of that woman's story.

I so want this precious boy identified. Sometimes I catch myself thinking It has been solved as in the Cold Case episode.

Agree with sloane. If family members were searching in recent years, its highly unlikely they would not have stumbled upon FDF/picture of Suzanne at some. Perhaps mom thought her child/ren had a better life than she could ever provide and did not search in recent years? Just speculation. No ill...

Matt has commented the name he posted is correct, per her family. I'd just like to hear it from the police or the family...seems hard to really trust any information that comes out on this case! Everything leads to more questions than answers.

From my bit of sleuthing, it looks like both parents have kids from other marriages. Can't tell if mom's kids would be around the age of Suzanne to be with FDF around the time he had them...but they are both girls.

It would be interesting to compare her daughter's pictures to her pics and photos of missing for possible comparison to missing children. Or to do an age regression. I honestly believe her identity is no longer a mystery to the family though (if it even ever was)

Just watched a special on Michael Dean Grant's capture. His son mentioned that he is a viable suspect in this case, but I haven't seen him linked in any article. Perhaps it was an old show (Devil Beside Me) Surprised I hadn't heard of this one. Hoping it comes to a close soon.

No, haven't heard anything. Wish I had known about this case when I was with a family member for an extended period. And from what I can gather, Blake isn't friends with most of his siblings and doesn't appear in family photos. I wonder if he's estranged? Or more likely, he doesn't really use...
