George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

Not that this matters very much, but wasn't Trayvon about 6 inches taller than Zimmerman? And a football player, too? I think Trayvon was tall and slim and I read somewhere that Zimmerman was much smaller back then and only about 5' 5", while Trayvon was 5'11" at least. I said all that to say...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

They showed several photos of his injuries yesterday. He had several "knots/lumps" on his head in addition to about 2 cut places. The cut places did not look very big to me, but I couldn't tell. They were bleeding. Also his nose was swollen and bleeding, and perhaps his upper lip, but don't...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

I agree. They both had a couple of different chances to STOP the whole episode. With George wanting to "get these people who keep breaking in our neighborhood" and Trayvon on this mission that no creepy cr. is going to follow him, they were on a collision path. I wish it had turned out...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

I cannot recall where I heard this, but other posters probably can set me straight. But I heard that George went to work the next day to let them know that he would probably be off work for a long time, because of the shooting. I understood that he did not work, just reported to his bosses why...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

This is not in reply to anything, it is just an observation by me. But, if I raise my children in the U.S., to me it is imperative that I as their parent should make sure they are learning what they need to know in school. If not, it would be MY PLACE to teach them proper English sentences...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

If you live for your entire 19.5 years in U.S., I would feel that your main/most often used language would be English. And I cannot believe most of the "talking heads" on all TV channels keep referring to her as this young teenager, when I am pretty sure she is closer to age 20 than to being...

George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General discussion #4

Yet she still had a few "flare ups" today. I thought she was coached last night as well, yet she denied it when asked by Don West. So, who knows? JMO

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

Ok, thanks. I have it narrowed down because of the few who have spoken already. I know the foreperson has come out and said that he could not vote for the DP - I believe...anyway.....thanks!!

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

I apologize in advance for this question. I have not been on this forum, nor watched HLN since the announcement that the jury could not agree. Here is my question, and again, I am sorry if this has already been mentioned, but do we know yet which 4 jurors could not give the DP? By the few who...

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

Does anyone think it might have been the 4 women jurors against the 8 men? When I heard the 8 to 4 split, that was what I thought. I feel at least 2 of the holdouts were women. I need to let it go but I can't. I have put over 5 months into love for a family that is still hurting. May God...

Arias continues giving interviews to the media

And to add to this, when did she ever do anything for her family anyway? If you never wanted to hurt your family or put them through this nightmare, you would have never killed another person. So you cannot now point to your family and act all concerned over their feelings. Evil throughout.

Arias continues giving interviews to the media

I am still in amazement that a question of "what do you think about getting the needle in your arm?" from one of the reporters last night got a big smile from Jodi along with an answer of "I haven't really thought about that yet, I will think about that later down the line. It will be a long...

Arias continues giving interviews to the media

I finally figured out where this monster came from. Since she met Travis in Nevada in 2006, I think she was one of the aliens who lived at Area 51 and escaped from there and ended up in Nevada, in the life of a good and decent man, and proceeded to destroy him.

Did Travis know Arias was coming to his house the night he was murdered?

This may have been answered, I did not read this complete forum, but someone asked about TA and JA making phone calls on June 3rd, on her trip there. I am almost sure that someone testified that there were some calls between them on the 3rd, perhaps 2 from Travis's phone and 3 from Jodi's...

a view from the inside: observations from our own court observers #9

Look what the gopher has done to Jodi! When Nancy Grace reported that Tanisha came out in the hallway and gathered about 15 people to take in the courtroom to sit with them, I just knew one of them was our KCL! I saw our KCL giving her strength to the Alexanders. Thanks KCL.

a view from the inside: observations from our own court observers #9

Almost all of Travis' friends who have given interviews have been awesome in their love and respect for him. As I have mentioned before, other than my family members, I would find it hard to think of more than 3 or 4 true friends who would speak as highly of me when I am gone! What a testament...

Advance apologies, but what time do they start back deliberating today? 9:00, or 10:00? I haven't turned on the TV or checked yet, thought it would be quicker to get a reply here. Thanks!!!

Just a little bit off topic (and not my true feelings at all), but just wondering if Jean C. is supposed to play "devil's advocate" and slide her observations a bit so as to give some doubt, thus giving us a different prospective, or keeping us tuned in for more? Does that make sense...

a view from the inside: observations from our own court observers #9

Nancy Grace was just totally weird last night - first she was mean/angry toward that one guest attorney (cannot think of his name) about her not having the time to get a manicure, then she was rude to Jean C. by trying to hurry Jean along with the story she was telling. I guess everyone's...

I totally agree. I was happy to hear that she is not allowed drawing and reading materials down in that dank basement (at least I hope it is dank). The more unhappy she is, the better I like it. It is so debasing.
