Apparently, the investigator at the station wanted to charge him for homicide but the city attorney nixed the idea. And Chief Lee seemed to back Zimmerman all the way.

This is a P.D. and a county with a seriously racist history, and not just from 50 years ago. That's in part why there is such an uproar over the lack of charges. Remember, this is the same P.D. that failed to arrest the white dude who sucker punched a black, homeless man in the back of the head, for no reason at all, even though there were tons of witnesses. Only after video surfaced was he asked to come in voluntarily to be arrested. He was released almost immediately and only got probabtion for his unprovoked attack. Black folk know how things work down there. I'm learning now myself.

If it's because it's such a racist city and county, why was it the city that filed to press charges, and the state attorney that denied it?

And again it doesn't matter what Trayvon did to him if he did it. Zimmerman cannot claim self defense since he approached Trayvon first and was following him.

Technically, they did arrest him (Put him in handcuffs)

I'm leaning towards that way, All of the facts have not come out yet, so I will wait until more facts come out.

Being handcuffed doesn't constitute an arrest...IMO

I don't think it was premeditation, personally. I think he picked a fight and thought he was a big man with his police backup on the way. I think he thought he could bully Trayvon. I think he put his hands on Trayvon first.

I am learning that if people want to believe GZ acted in self defense nothing is going to change that belief. This case has veered into Twilight Zone Territory IMO. I still have seen no evidence that Trayvon did anything wrong the night he was murdered I still feel he is the only victim between him and GZ but maybe we will see images of GZ injuries

He said no injuries to his hands that would indicate punching/fighting. Clearly there were injuries to his body, since he was shot to death.





I worked as a preschool teacher and daycare worker for years. Head wound bleeds insanely. Anyone with kids knows that. Even a minor cut to the scalp. And a broken nose? Absolutely right that it spurts and drips all down the front of the shirt. This is b.s..

Responding to what was directed to me....

There was GZ's blood at the scene ALSO. That is what I was referring to. The initial police report stated GZ was bleeding from his nose and back of the head.

The funeral director has stated that there were NO visible injuries to TM's body. He stated that he couldn't even see the bullet whole.
Now today he said he saw an entry wound but no exit wound. I'm wondering why it changed.
But my point about the nose-the director said no visible injuries. I'm assuming that would include his nose.

We'll have to agree to disagree. That would be for a jury to decide. If you have someone in your sight and you have the gun, and they are pleading for their life, and you shoot them anyway... I guess that just means you're a cold blood killer. Like I said, premeditation can be formed in an instant. Does that mean the prosecution will go there? You're probably right on that one. Doesn't mean that's not what happened. It's just harder to prove.

Well, it's not like they can use his father's words on FOX in a trial. Look at all the crazy they had on Cindy and George and their stories changing... sure, we know what's going on. When it comes to a jury... Trayvon would have drowned himself in the clubhouse swimming pool and his neighbor would have moved the body to the location it ended up in.

George Zimmerman was not only presumed innocent, he was declared innocent by the police department.

I hope he enjoyed that feeling while it lasted!
He'll get a fair jury, and he'll get an appropriate sentence IMO.

Well no. I saw it on tv. It was during the counsel meeting.
HLN has replayed that segment about a million and one times since I saw it yesterday.

She stated, as fact, that GZ saw TM, chased him down, tackled him, and shot him.

She is the only person who has said that. IMO she is misinformed. The 911 tapes do not back up her statements.

Today, she is supposed to know what's on an unreleased autopsy report.

IMO this lady just talks without being informed.

the 911 calls and the affidavit from TM's girlfriend do not disprove her statements, IMO. She is a US Congresswoman and a longtime Miami politician, so it is entirely possible she does have the yet unreleased autopsy report.

Premeditation is more than you're making it out to be. It implies that the crime has been planned and thought out beforehand to increase chances of success and minimize chances of discovery. Second degree murder would be more fitting in that scenario.

Now on The ED show on MSNBC are saying the videos disprove the police and GZ statements that he was attacked....OMG arrest GZ now His head was never bashed and he was not almost beaten to death!!! IMHO
