Generally, LE doesn't tell parents or relatives anything very specific about how cases are going, so the fact (if it is a fact) that they were both called to the station really doesn't bode well.

But maybe somebody credible told them where Haleigh could be found and they are preparing them for that. They have kept things very tightly under wraps in this case I think.
