2009.03.02 - Motion Hearing (Casey Tries to Halt Release of Evidence)

I really do not think there are any additional photos out there that we have no seen. He wants to portray Casey as a loving doting mom, then something tragic happened to Caylee and thats why there are the party pictures right after Caylee went missing. He does not want people to see a bunch of party pictures, barfing in toilet, peeing in parking lot, beer pong before Caylee went missing, then it would show that life just went on as normal for Casey after Caylee went missing.

I will laugh if the Judge orders the images released and all of them are the same ones we have seen in the news,etc.

Well. CA looked none the worse for wear and seemed she was doing well. She is going to get TMJ from that gum chewing, I tell ya.

George had his Caylee button on and did not (at least to me) look at if he is doing as well as CA.

Did not get to see Casey's face at all today, so I am going to have to see some stills of her!

Baez dissing LE and Corrections officials just burns me up!

Yes. I thought Cindy looked "put-together" very well and healthier than I've heard reported. She smiled brightly at JB during their discussions and was resilent enough to be a lean-to for GA with her arm draped around his back while rubbing his arm for comfort. Her hair was styled nicely in a shorter cut that revealed earrings that matched well with her red suit that set itself apart from the green KC pin and KFN pins she wore.

In contrast, GA was dressed nicely wearing a Caylee pin, but assumed a more withdrawn posture - hands in front, slightly hunched over, at times looking at the ground, no smiles that I saw. Definately not as receptive to JB as CA was either.

MO, based on all that's gone down since KC was first arrested and and through today, it appears to me that the relationship with Baez and KC is completely insular. In addition to being her lawyer, he's become her only friend and advisor, her new and improved parents, her next potential squeeze. He's her god. He's her lifeline. He's her only connection to Planet Earth, and she only looks for and sees him. I could be wrong, but the relationship they seem to have totally creeps me out. It seems to extend way beyond the professional and I don't think it's doing her any good...at least not in the real world where she'll be tried for murder.

The relationship is strange, & from what I see, IMO, he only has 3 years under his belt, & she is the Brass Ring! & he's not letting go!

YEP. All they got was one forced smile and one stuck out lower lip in a likely attempt to be "cute"(the only other time her head turned their direction).

I am fascinated by CA and GA's body language with Baez after the hearing. At first Cindy was holding his hand and George just looked stonily at Baez. Then Cindy's eyes looked like they could burn through metal. It was creepy.

HLN showed very little of the motion itself due to numerous commercial breaks & TH's chatting! If my son wasn't doing something imp on the puter at the time I would've caught it all on one of the Orlando stations..I'm pretty ticked off right now at HLN! Ugh! Can ya tell?

okay, Im just catching up here.....so let me see GA & CA come to this hearing.....when was the last time they came into a hearing for Casey?
AND... just 5 days ago they were too fragile emotionally to appear in court to answer questions about the nanny. CA chummy with Baez still? WTH is going on here?

I hope Strickland releases those photo's....blow it right out of the water! Those images must be pretty bad.

I'm just not sure what it was people expected from Casey with regard to acknowledging her parents. She couldn't very well reach over the little fence and attempt to hug them, and she certainly wasn't given time to stand there and chitchat with them at the end of the hearing. She was ushered out as soon as it was done and her attorney had finished talking with her. She acknowledged them as best she could with what little time she could with as flat an affect she could muster which would be picked apart no matter what she'd done with her face, be it smiling, crying, grimacing or flipping them the middle finger.

As for her parents putting up with whatever she gives them, they made their bed with her. They can lie in it.

Debs, when Baez asked to approach Casey could have turned her head around and at least SMILED at her parents! That was the perfect time to at least make some eye contact. For minutes on end, all counsel (except for the attorney on her left) was standing around the bench and Casey sat staring forward. If you ask me, she seemed P*SSED at the 'rents.

G and C should have stayed home and not given KC the opportunity to snub them. I guess we know now why they haven't visited her since October. She is denying their visits and probably phone calls. If they were normal people, they would make today their last attempt to communicate with her, but they are not normal people so they will stick in there. Imagine that JB had to tell her to greet her parents and all she could muster was a fake one second smile. I don't think she even made eye contact. No respect for anyone. Disgusting.

As much as I can't stand Casey and the Anthonys, I don't know if he TOLD her to say hello to them. The way I took it was she didn't even know they were coming..she walked right to her seat without looking who was there. I think he just told her that her parents were sitting behind her and then she turned around and said hi. It was weird that she didn't say goodbye to them though...

I just watched the raw footage of this--that's EXACTLY what it looks like! Wow . . . very telling.

not only that she walked right by them and didn't give them a second look. they were right there front and center and on the first row. she had plenty of time to say hi or I love you, a little wave and a smile, but she flat out ignored them. No two ways about it.

I hope he does rule to release all of the photos.
As far as the tape, I don't care if it is released or not. I can wait to see it at the trial,*if televised*or later when it makes it debut in the internet.

Jose looked more intent on the camera angle than he did on George and Cindy and whispering in her ear at one point, he looks directly into the lens. It is immediately after that when Casey turns around and finally smiles and says hello to her parents. I don't know for much, but I don't know that prisoners are allowed unfettered chitchatting time with the people in the gallery, no matter how closely they're related to the inmate.

If George and Cindy want more than that, then they'll have to go to the jail. If they don't want it videotaped, they will have to take what they can get with a woman who is marched into court with armed guards around her. I can't imagine that's supposed to be a warm and fuzzy moment.

I'm wondering if there was AUDIO along with this video recording and/or a witness to anything she may have said while she was reacting to the news?

And possibly JB knows this and is trying hard to suppress.

Also, my thoughts on the rest of the pics are that they are either worse than what we've seen already OR Caylee is seen asleep on the couch in the background while her mother is partying with LOTS of men on premises. A witness way back in the beginning stated to LE that Casey many times brought her baby with her to these parties and that the child surprisingly seemed to sleep through much of the noise.

IMO, I think we'll soon see IF the judge allows release of them with the discovery.

I don't think anyone is expecting this perp to be emotional about anything.
I don't believe that prisoners are allowed to talk or get touchy feely with friends/family in court. I certainly didn't expect Ms.Anthony to hop over and start a chit chat session with anyone.
Her behaviour and her parents behaviour is what I find interesting (not surprising, just interesting) that's all.
