First of all, it's entirely possible that not one juror will "like" KC. She is one of the most unlikeable people on earth. I am sure we are all well aware that the State must prove her to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

I think the lack of Zanny evidence is as damning as direct evidence linking KC. The fact that NO, absolutely NO (are you getting this?) trace of a Zanny Nanny can be found. In this day and age of totally wowing forensic tests, we have the inability to find traces of a suposed person who took Caylee. So, we now have to completely rule that imaginary person out and look to the next suspect. Duh.

I don't have a problem in a case like this. Evidence points nowhere else and in fact, there will be evidence pointing to KC. If you think the State has shown all its cards, think again.

Reasonable doubt is not defined as could happen in a bizzillion to one. It is reasonable to believe KC murdered her daughter. If it was an accident, KC should be the one to speak up and say so. If she doesn't she gets to play with the hand she was dealt. No sympathy. Too bad. I don't have time for psychos who play games.

KC will get an appeal. That is fair and so giving her death now will not mean she will actually be executed for the crime. She will have time to prove her innocence.

I hadn't previously heard about the interview with the neighbor (Gonzales) who substantiates that she saw bag/etc at the site on Suburban in August. This would refute any defense claim that the bag was dumped later.

Where is this interview. Strange the person whose statement's would incrimiate KC has the last name of the person KC accuses of doing the crime. Just saying. Strange.

I think that if they went to trial with what we have seen, right now, it would be enough. A mother doesn't report her daughter missing, EVER, the child's Grandmother does after the child is missing for a month. The mother lies to LE when she is supposedly trying to help them find her daughter, a daughter that the mother says was taken by a nanny that noone has ever seen or heard from. All the contacts this mother provides to LE are LIES, noone, no address checks out. There are no "outcry witnesses" because this mother NEVER told anyone in her life that her daughter was missing. She told her friends that her daughter was at the beach, at Disney World, with her invisible nanny. The mother shows no signs of emotional upset during and after her daughter went missing as reported by friends close to her at the time. Pictures of the mother show her smiling while partying in a nightclub during the time her daughter is "missing". The mothers car smells like decomposition, as verified by seasoned homicide detectives, canine dogs and family members. The daughter is found not even a mile from where the mother lived in trash bags and laundry bag that connects to the Anthony home...duct tape wrapped around the skull is from the same manufacturer as duct tape from the Anthony home. This is enough for me.

no accident. if it was an accident she would have been freaked out and grieving beyond control. at least a "loving mother" as described by the anthony's would.

Oh no, this was way before Williams went on his search. There was a big deal made by the press early on when GA hauled a bunch of donated stuffed animals in a trash bag(s) out to the curb. It was caught on tape by the media and GA made a very snarkey remark that they smelled of cigarette smoke and he was throwing them out.

Did Roy K. say that he saw a skull, white object etc. back in August? OK, so when the skull was found, the officer on scene said it had brownish hair around the sides and duct tape on the front and that there was no hair on the top of the skull.

Question: In August woud it have looked the same as it did in Dec? Would the hair have been missing on the top in August of '08?

Just askin...it struck me as odd that he would see a white oval object and identifiy it as a skull if the was talking about the whole thing.

Could the white object been the facial area only?

I wish these detectives would get some details. We women, we want DETAILS!!!!!

Well then Casey cooked her own goose with that maneuver. That combined with lack of forensic evidence that could have proven an accident will be forever lost because Casey left the body out there so long there was nothing left to test. What's left is evidence that shoes no accident. BTW, the state of Florida has a slim acceptance of what is an accident. If the accident is child abuse in any form...it's murder.

Jeff Hopkins is a real person who Casey worked with way back when at universal. He never dated Casey, doesn't have a son, doesn't need a nanny, nor does he know ZG and never did.

Wonderful post. Esp the part about reasonable doubt. The prosecution will lay out the story of KC's doings backed up by facts (pings, witness testimony, texts, her own words, and it will be "beyond reasonable". jmo

Question: In August woud it have looked the same as it did in Dec? Would the hair have been missing on the top in August of '08?

Just askin...it struck me as odd that he would see a white oval object and identifiy it as a skull if the was talking about the whole thing.

Could the white object been the facial area only?

I wish these detectives would get some details. We women, we want DETAILS!!!!!

Maybe in August he saw the shape of the skull through the canvas bag. Even in December he had to move a bag with his stick to see the skull.

Lol, that reminds me of when Detective Lee Anthony made an attempt to contact Juliette and Jeff because afterall their phone numbers were in KC's phone proving they are real! Much like if there is a dog there must be a Zanny. The insuing who's on first conversation when Lee made the calls must have been hysterical when the phone numbers under Jeff and Juliette's name turned out to be the neighbors. IIRC, they went something like:

LA: can I speak to Jeff Hopkins?
Neighbor: Who?
LA: Jeff Hopkins?
Neighbor: Lee? Is that you? This is your neighbor.

Disclaimer: the above scenario came from Geraldo, so take it for what it's worth. But it sends me into a fit of giggles every time I relive it. lololol.

IMO I don't think that the skull would have been that macerated in August. I thought that maybe it was the skull inside the whitish canvas hamper bag poking through the garbage bag.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to go through and prepare discovery for release? If you don't, that's ok (most attorneys don't even realize) but I do! When I was a lowly clerk/intern I had this job for several large cases. The amount that was released today (just what we have seen so far) can take weeks to prepare ... because not only does each item of discovery have to be approved by the attorney(s) prior to being released (You don't want to release information that is still being investigated) it then has to be copied, cataloged, and often a brief written, to summarize what is being released and to whom. Also you must release certain items ahead of others if, for example, a judge has granted a motion to compel. Also, many many times a prosecutor will try to bury a certain key piece of information in mountains of insignificant discovery!! This is often called an "information avalanche." I am telling you all of this to give you hope!! Discovery is a process ... sometimes it yields a lot of evidence at once ... other times it takes an electron microscope to find even one piece of pertinent information. So, don't give up hope ... and as far as discovery is concerned remember that sometimes the "devil is in the details!" :blowkiss:

With the D.P possible one would have to think that LE has concrete evidence of KC's guilt. I could not vote guilty without concrete evidence with the dp on the table. Otherwise, it's beyond a reasonable doubt, right? I would have to have no doubt even if my emotions hated everything else I'd heard.

I am with you. I would vote not guilty based on what I have seen. I would have too, even if I thought she was a liar and a selfish person.

So let's put her to death? really? Man, I have got to say if I am ever charged with a crime I hope most of you are NOT on the jury. You think with your hearts and not with your heads. Look at the statutes and the admissible evidence. Sorry to be so harsh, but most of these post just want KC found guility because they don't like her. That is not justice!

I think most of us want Casey found guilty because she is the person who murdered Caylee ..

actually, I could not sit on the jury b/c I'm against the death penalty. but that's another story. but that's not what we are discussing...we are discussing guilt or innocence.All the evidence I need against a mother I found out on day 31. jmo

I totally agree! EVERYBODY is entitled to a fair trial. You have to remember there is a possibility that a lot of the evidence may not be admissible in court. One of the key things that people are relying on are the body farm reports which any good attorney (thankfully JB isn't one) could have thrown out because there isn't enough research on how accurate these findings are. Plus, the party pictures may be found irrelevent as with the photobucket sayings.

I agree. I think the Body Farm and the photos will not be brought in. Without those, you can't really prove there was a body in her trunk other than CA's phone call and she isn't an expert. Then you look a the other evidence and there is just not enough there.
