I think forum owners should be supplied with a magic marker that can be run across the screen to erase flamers.

just an opinion here......but I HIGHLY doubt that the JD was listed as someone's initials. No other names have been redacted or reduced to initials and I don't think this is the case here.

After a long week at work do I really have to do homework tonight? J/k but honestly, it's so exhausting to get yet another person potentially inserting themselves into this beautiful child's life. I will read and observe but I just want the trial to get here as everyone else does. I truly hope it just not a new version of spin. Soon Caylee soon, justice will prevail little darling.

I agree....I am giving it the attention it deserves....a glance, chuckle, move on...

Ok I found the thread and I think I was wrong he was talking about ex parte communication. I misread. Sorry.

Thanks for trying at least. Can someone else answer this for me? Does the judge read these kinds of letters? I would think so since the side is stamped with "Rec'd by Judge". I just cant see him stamping something without reading it.

I agree with whoever said "JD" was probably "John Doe." Most likely the clerks are using an automated system to enter the titles of docs, where you pick from a drop-down menu to describe what's being filed and who is filing it. It may not be possible to select "Alleged Scientist and Concerned Citizen" as the "Filing Party."

I followed your link and I thought it sounded like the same person.
I wonder how many tips this person called in to the OCSO when they were looking for an "alive" Caylee. I guess this is my "first big case". I just don't know how I'll be able to stomach what's yet to come.

That letter sure traveled slow....it is dated December 30, 2009 and took two weeks (Jan 13th) before it was received by the court and copies provided to SA and defense...

So doesn't this amount to someone trying to testify in essence? What in heaven's name does this person think will happen? The case will be thrown out because he or she doesn't think casey did it? This reeks of chicanery if it is truly anonymous or if the author cannot be confirmed. I guess I'll leave it at that...what a ridiculous, disgusting waste of time for someone to spend defending Casey..

Well, it HAS been a slow few weeks...

:blowkiss:

Good eye.
I went to see if the previous letter took a long time, but it doesn't appear to be dated. Unless I missed it. Ah well.

Hmmmm, anyone else wondering if a doc dump is headed our way?

Doesn't this kind of thing always seem to get released as a pre-emptive strike before a document release?

And just in case any fingers were pointed in my direction, I can assure you that it wasn't me. If I were ever to write a letter to JSS it would read something like this:

' Dear JSS, I have a teensy bit of a crush on you. While everyone else keeps their gazed fixed on KC during a hearing, mine is set on you.
<3 BWI'

LOL...Seriously though, I agree that the style of the p21 emails and this letter are similar.

As far as the length of time it took to be recorded.....you have to remember that once Judge Stricklands office received it, it was probably opened, recorded, and sent to be filed. Once that happened and it went to the actual (physical office) person that would enter it.....it was added to their "stack"......Unless you walk in to the clerks office and ask that it be recorded on the spot....it will be in queue behind others. Think recording a mortgage.....does it ever record the SAME day you close?? Once it is recorded, then the docket needs to be updated.

Doc. dump or maybe some good stuff that might come out at the check fraud trial.

:banghead:This letter even goes back to the "Dr. Lee found bits of food in the garbage bag that was in the pontiac.":banghead:

I love when other forum members come here and hijack info and pretend it is their own.* Like the page 21 post........I need no credit nor would ever call them out in their own forum but really? That's amateur.* See folks.......everyone comes to WS to get their info.* Be proud of the job we do. Weather is calling for SUN.*
I didn't see that...are you talking about the email?

So does this mean the O Town Finest guy who is partner's with Krunk didn't do it? I'm confused. I thought we had this straightened out. Boy, I'm glad I'm only on Chapter 1 of my book.

Nope.....I did a google search on a phrase and it popped up. I mean I posted and right away it went to another forum with page 21. I laughed.

I posted at 5:45 PM and they posted at 6:17PM . It said 7:17 but that forum is on GMT.

I personally think that it is someone that has been posting here. But that's just my opinion on the way the writing is. As I said, it seems and feels as if I have read this persons writings before and the only place I read about this case anymore is here.

Yup! ITA with you. I too, think this person has been posting here, and I pretty much think I know who it is! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Actually, on this case at least, the clerks seem to take the time to enter in extra things. Like the prisoner letter last fall had his name. And media people paying for pages, etc.

They usually put the envelope in the case file too. I'll have to go down next week and take a peek at it... should at least have the postmark with the city it was mailed from. :)
