Actually, as busy as it has been today and yesterday, everyone has been GREAT! We've hardly had any alerts and those we've gotten have been off topic related.

We are all coming together in hope of Haleigh coming home. :grouphug:

I just read the Bedtimes and Blankets thread...

no mention of color....

Haleigh's Blanket
My Blanket
Pee'd blanket
washed blanket....etc...

Inquiring minds asked the question and no answer found to the best of my knowledge.
 
any new live reports or coverage of the search site, etc since around 11 central this am?
 
HLN just did a spot on the search .....nothing new. Of course, they will wait for JVM and NG before they tell anything anyway.
 
One of many things about that particular media outlet that frustrates me to no end!
 
They withhold info all day waiting for NG to do her "Bombshells". Then she makes up stories like recovering a blue cooler and this case is now a homicide. She makes up her news. So where can one go to get the truth? All these bloggers tell the same story to each other then quote each other to bolster creidibilty in their meager fare. I especially like the bloggers who read here and run off to report what is said here. I think alot of them use this site for their source of information.
I know as soon as I hear anything in the tv media about Haleigh I run HERE to get the real truth and 2 days quicker.
 
Unless there's breaking news, I'm thinking the next good updates we'll get are on the 5:00 news -- 2hrs/15min from now.

TruTV just teased an "indepth" spot on this case on InSession right now... oh never mind, it's just Jean Casarez rehashing everything we already know.

The mystery will continue until LE clears ups who this person is, or if this person lets Simon reveal his name. I don't think now that it was Misty. I think that the mystery Tipster put Misty on the hot seat and that is the only reason she may of shared something with LE. Not because she decided to tell the truth, but because she is backed up in a corner. :furious:

Thanks Mad for listing all the statements floating around concerning this search and the tip! There's also the so called blue cooler found which was announced on Nancy's show and the comment from LE the suspect is in jail.
From today out, I'm not giving any weight to anything I hear unless it comes from LE standing in front of a microphone in a specificly called official press conference. I suggest we all do the same. Or, like you indicated we will be banging our head against the wall.
Let this be the day Haleigh is found and there is an official statement.

Not sure if this is new or old, Did anyone read the palatkadailynews.com today? I haven't read all pages yet on this thread. Most everything in the article we already knew except this was the last (2) paragraphs of the article. I wasn't aware of this statement.
(Brown is a resident in the search area)

Brown, the neighborhood resident said Haleigh's babysitter, Misty Croslin, "used to live two blocks from here" with her parents.
Brown said another resident told him he saw Croslin carrying a trash bag nearby in the days after Haleigh was reported missing.

I do find that interesting that the FDLE mobile crime lab was brought in today and the media was moved back further. I have the feeling they may have found something that might pertain to the case or the mobile crime lab would not be there, I dont think they go to scenes until something is confirmed found. If I understand correctly the mobile crime lab would handle any evidence that was found at the scene not the sheriff department.

Just my opinion but I think they did solve it a long time ago but lacked the sufficient evidence needed to take to the judge and get arrests warrants and the go ahead from the SA office.

That is the reason for all the arrests and the scrutiny of LE over the past year against the people they knew would eventually crack if enough pressure was applied to them. The Croslins. Every single one of them were called to task by LE...Hank, Lisa, Tommy, Misty, Timmy and Chelsea scrammed ( I can't imagine why) they even told Lyndsy that they were not going away and reported her and Tommy to DCF.....yes, in my opinion they had this case figured out long ago, and have been focused on the big squeeze for a year.

Last night on the 11pm channel 4 news (news4jax.com) a Fish, Game and wildlife officer (is that what they are called) was interviewed as he was leaving area by the reporter and reporter ask about the box/cooler thing and officer looked shocked and said that was what they were using to collect stuff in and sift through. Not sure if I believed him or not.
