And in thinking back on this interview and his mentioning that Joe O was mentioned on the 911 call--wth, unless redacted, is he speaking about. We've listened to that call a million times. This is all making me more suspicious of his client. JMO

Not sure it makes me suspicious of his client, but I do know it makes me suspicious of him (Shoemaker). JMO - he is over his head in the publicity end of this deal - he would serve his client better by keeping his yap closed and his face off Nancy Grace.

I still think RC may have said it that way to Shoey to garner some donations--am I being a bit jaded in my thinking?
:banghead:

I have a feeling Mr. Shoemaker overstepped his bounds - no way did LE tell anyone in Haleigh's family to start planning a funeral. It is more likely that Le told them the possibilities were high that Haleigh was deceased and Ron told Shoemaker he was planning for a funeral. How can one have a funeral with no remains ? A memorial yes but a funeral - no. LE would not say this period unless they had recovered Haleigh's remains and were 100% positive what they recovered was Haleigh.

This simply did not happen, the words most likely came from Ron - definitely not from LE. Calling BS on Shoemaker - he's talking with no direct knowledge.

Yep you hit the nail on the head.
LOL

Or the attorney over-reached and got caught at it. He's got deniability if he wasn't present.

Shoemaker was not there. I think he would have call PCSO just to confirm such a statement. He is a lawyer and he knows you don't have a funeral without a body. A memorial possibly but not at this time.

I think this new search has a long time to go before we ever know the results. PCSO has to have all their T's crossed and I's dotted before they can ever place the charge of Murder on anyone. They that they have to prove the act beyond a shadow of doubt.

Looks to me like the "3" are going to keep pointing fingers at each other until we get dizzy from listening to and watching them. ugh

What they may have said is begin to make funeral plans. Or if this is goes the way we feel it is going, you should prepare by choosing a funeral home.

When a decedent goes to the coroner one of the things they ask the family to do is choose a funeral home. The reason is, when ME testing is complete, the coroner knows who to call for purposes of taking the body into their care. The funeral home chosen by the family would transport the decedent into the care of their facility. The family then would meet with a Director to make arrangements.

They didn't even say " Begain to make..ect" . PCSO is aware of this claim concerning a funeral.

Anyone know what the Grand Jury schedule is in Putnam Co.? Do they convene only a few days a month or as needed.

As to Shoemaker, when he speaks, my skin crawls. He isn't speaking to hear himself. Is he??????

Truly grateful for your input and completely furious for the pain his comments have caused. I really have no words.

You have no idea how heart sick this made a mommy. Just having to deal with the latest news has been tuff enough. And then these funeral claims.
Ever wonder why PCSO would tell only the father and not the mother with whom they stay in constant contact with.

Ron must have said this to his lawyer... guess he figures someone rolled over and Haleigh evidence has been located... wonder why else he would say that?
posssible guilt? moo

me thinks it is too soon for a grand jury..... unless someone decides to confess..and I don't think that is going to happen , do YOU?

I agree. I think he was quoting his client and he looked mighty uncomfortable, IMO, on television this evening. He has so 'splaining to do.

:banghead::banghead:

Oh goody, I was afraid to watch more bs but now that I have read he was squirming I am going to go watch. Thank you!

Everything Shoemaker has said so far screams CYA for Ronald. I think the bulldozer is heading his way and they both already know it. He is going to deny everything and play like he is blindsided when other players accusations come up.

Yes, I do. I think they have pretty much said they have all the evidence they expect to find. I also believe that if they don't have a case now then they are probably gonna be hard pressed to put one together. I really believe that when they make their case it will include Ron. I wouldn't be suprised for them to charge everyone of the bunch on both sides. We'll see I suppose.

I see it going either of two ways...Ron, Misty and either one or both Tommy and Joe or Ron, Misty and his mom and granny. YES I SAID IT!

That's interesting hmmmmmm

I think someone is talking but don't know about confessing...how anyone could have kept this quiet for 14+months is beyond me.

but OT is Butterbean enjoying his time on the farm :)

Being I have already put what I really think out there, I am gonna go one step further. I think the only two people on either side of the families that is not privy to what happened to poor Haleigh is probably Hank Sr. and Lisa.

Ya'll I just did my hair.....below the head with the 'maters.
